Apologies, I know for a fact there's already a thread on Jackson SOMEWHERE because I contributed to it, but I can't for the life of me find it, nor get it returned via the search results...

Anyway, looking at his tour dates, anyone else think Jackson Browne & David Lindley (and band) could be a strong possibility?

without a F*CKING doubt!!!!! he's in england, finishing in the royal albert and the dates of glasto are completely free, i think this is almost certain!!!!!

i saw him in 2002, and it was one of my best gigs ever .... including the who, springsteen, neil young, and many many others.

Imagine 'these days' or 'late for the sky' in the acoustic tent!!! *wells up* :P

This would be wonderful - love Jackson Browne's music.

Have seen him perform a few years back (not Glasto)and he did a 'greatest hits' package.

Perfect for Glasto imo whatever stage he plays. Maybe Jazzworld ?

Excellent back catalogue of classic tunes so if he comes I will be there ! :P

Saw him multiple times over the years (Lindley too with his band El Ray-o X)...

JB's recent material is just as strong as the classic stuff. The only downside would be all the things he didn't play because he has such a deep catalog.

Very exciting potential!

He sat in our box at a Christy Moore gig in Liverpool a few years ago and went on stage to join Christy for an encore of Before the Deluge. Fabulous! Christy sang Lisdoonvarna that night, which references Jackson Browne and we all had a little chuckle in our box!

A source that has already provided what has since been proven as accurate info on one band has told us that Jackson Browne with David Lindley will be playing in the Acoustic tent on the Sunday as the last act.

(This info seems to indicate that Ray Davies isn't the Acoustic headliner on Sunday, something that was always more of a presumption than anything else - the only sure info we have on Davies is that he's apparently playing on the Sunday, and this info should be 100% accurate)

    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
