Glen Tilbrook and The Fluffers. I'm in love with Lucy Shaw, his bass player and they did do an amazing finish, dismantling all their kit and ending up lying on the stage kicking their legs in the air.

3. We Come 1, Faithless - 2002. Absolutely tore the field up.

4. Common People, Pulp - 1998. I was miles back and it still sounded brilliant.

5. Somewhere Only We Know, Keane - 2004. I went on my own that year and I stood under a massive poncho in the pissing rain with mud oozing over my feet watching this and I remember feeling that despite everything Glastonbury was somewhere only we knew.

That's thing if you are David Bowie are and putting together a touring band, you can pick the best musicians around. I think that's why his live performances are so good. Really bring the whole song into brilliant context.

I'm just glad that I caught him on his last tour. I'd hate to have missed out on a Bowie performance. Bit of a gap on the old CV.
