Looking forward to my Wednesday trip to the wonderful Caribbean food stall on the main drag between the Other Stage and Pyramid Stage (parallel to the Dance Village). Has become something of a routine over the past two or three years to go there on the opening day. The food is lovely and hearty and the woman who works there always recognises me, asks how I've been over the past year and compiles an epic veggie plate of everything on the menu for about £6. The plantain, cullaloo and rice and pea are delicious but I'm assured the hot sauce should be treated with caution. Can't remember the name of the stall, perhaps someone with a better memory can help me with that...

Brilliant. As some of us thought...re-sale...what re-sale? You just have to be ringing up constantly on the off chance!

Fly my pretties and good luck :P

Reminds me of one of the strangest events in all of my trips to Glastonbury. In 2005 we were still feeling a little bit rough round the edges on the Monday morning so decided to hang around a little longer and let the traffic die down (ha ha) before braving the car parks. Wandered down to the markets to get some food and a lot of the stalls were giving away the stock they had left for nothing. Ended up with a bottle of milk shake, two loaves of bread and a tin of spaghetti hoops, strangely enough. We then stopped at one of the vans to get a veggie burger. The woman serving, charged me only half price, then out of the blue said "do you like magic mushrooms?" and before I could answer, whipped out a serviette, plonked a big handful in it and handed them to me with the burger. Tired, hungover and confused, I was unable to question this strange occurence, spluttered "thank you" and wandered off back to the tent.

    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
    • Debut album from Haiver (ex Frightened Rabbit's Billy Kennedy band) is an absolutely gorgeous thing. If you're a fan of FR then you'll probably like it. Definitely a contender for album of the year for me.
    • The tickets for the back at Muse, did go on sale. I know because I bought tickets there because they were the cheapest. All in with fee's, I got tickets at £81.20 each.   So likely, sold out quickly for those wanting the cheapest tickets. Either that or sold poorly and they took them off sale and when I turn up they offer me paper ticket upgrades because they closed the back.
    • She's headlining Reading and Leeds. Not to be sniffed at. She's also done her substantial arena tour since last time.    I think she's a decent bet to do it.
