I wouldn't be surprised if there's a fair few available in the resale. A number of people seem to have been let down by mates/partners, strapped for cash, pissed off with the line-ups etc..

No it won't. Try and text every day to say you miss her (even if you don't), buy a gift (do not forget, even if its something predictable, crappy and cost £2), and when you finally get home and feel like shit, say you're moody because you wished she'd gone! Job done

I did all that a few years ago when she decided not to go another year. It didn't work. I think the problem was that the gift was a lantern made from sardine tins. Looked ace when I was all spangly, but it lost a bit in translation. I've still got it in me shed.
