Sadly you're probably right - it's quite likely to be an over-hyped solo album :P

It's been generally accepted that the original Guns N' Roses will never reunite however Velvet Revolver were a pretty decent band. If they could find themselves a reliable singer they could achieve further success; though obviously not on the level of GnR and STP.

I live in hope!

that version of paradise city is only going to be a bonus track anyway.

Standard Edition CD

1. "Ghost" (feat. Ian Astbury & Izzy Stradlin)

2. "Beautiful Dangerous" (feat. Fergie)

3. "Nothing to Say" (feat. M. Shadows)

4. "Crucify the Dead" (feat. Ozzy Osbourne)

5. "Promise" (feat. Chris Cornell)

6. "By the Sword" (feat. Andrew Stockdale)

7. "Doctor Alibi" (feat. Lemmy)

8. "Saint is a Sinner Too" (feat. Rocco DeLuca)

9. "Watch This" (feat. Dave Grohl & Duff McKagan)

10. "I Hold On" (feat. Kid Rock)

11. "Gotten" (feat. Adam Levine)

12. "We're All Gonna Die" (feat. Iggy Pop)

13. "Starlight" (feat. Myles Kennedy)

Thats the track listing for it. The main issue is Kid Rock i think.

There's some pretty good vocalists on it. I reckon it could be good.

Its been reported on various sites (Gigwise and BBC Radio 1 to name a couple) that he's in talks to play Download. I'd be surprised now if he doesn't appear.

YES! if Slash doesn't get announced now, I'll be devastated, will be the icing on the cake of an already awesome line up, to be honest if Slash gets announced on top of what we have, I don't give a f**k who else gets announced, im more than happy with what we have

    • Iran firing missiles at Israel blaming Israel's continued breaking of ceasefire agreements with its bombing of Lebanon. Deal with that one Trump you d*ck.
    • Best of all is to get the tram, then call a taxi for very short not-rip-off ride once in the centre.
    • Would you decide to go once more I recommend to queu up at the ‘official’ freenow taxi line ( 5 min walk from the main gate). It might take 15 min or so but they are not ripping you off. Even at 3 or 4 in the night it costed us about 25eur to the city center.
    • How do you mean? Better as a hotel/ festival combo?   I've done rock am ring at both sites.....unpopular opinion I much preferred the mending site and really didn't like the long and narrow main stage at RaR.
    • Yesterday was another brilliant day of music for me. Some highlights:  My Bloody Valentine - absolutely loved it! Maybe my main festival highlight. I felt submerged in the music with all the layers and distortion. It becomes hypnotic almost as it progresses. Not as loud as some thought it might be, but it didn’t need to be. The visuals added a lot too. During the noise part of You Made me Realise, I was basically in a trance staring at the visual tunnel or whatever it was on screen. Amazing experience. Little Simz - as she mentioned at the start, you’re guaranteed a good time with her. Great performance just like in 2022. Zero complaints. The little DJ section wasn't something I expected but was cool. Kneecap - I had a blast but at this point in the night I was at my most intoxicated let's say, so I don’t remember it as clearly as I'd have liked to!    The xx - The sound for this was perfectly balanced (at least where I was) and the band were great. Lots of talkers, but with the crowd size and being kind of far back, it's to be expected. Intro was one of my favourite moments this year. Big Thief - really good live performers. The lead singer has a lovely voice. This was a nice chill way to kick off the mordor gigs for me.
