Not a bad idea, but i would have thought that hard to implement owing to the great distances involved, lets stick to when everyone is is the same place at the same time. Although i'm in London so anyone who wants something of this ilk, i'm open to it.

no one should feel shy about coming to the meet! i've met loads of people on here and most of them have been really nice and friendly. i know it's easier said than done though, cause you can't just stop yourself from being shy if that's how you feel. but just have a few drinks and come and say hello. i've always had a great laugh with folk off efests. a festival wouldn't be the same without them.

Maybe its just not letting your camp mates bully you into seeing stuff you don't want to? Going into the 'sauna' where I spotted some impressive pubes going on? Give the main stages a miss?

i'm intrigued as to what you mean by "impressive pubes." :P

... not rest for a second.

I can't get up there until Friday at around 6ish due to work and may have to leave Sunday night, so I'm gonna have to make the most of the 48-60 hours that I actually get on site. This will be my 3rd year, so I have no doubts that some Glastonbury is better than no Glastonbury.

I'm planning on little sleep, a lot of bloody fun and a lot of exploring.

I will not have G&T or Pimms for breakfast on every day of the festival this year. - Guaranteed fail

I will stay up all night to watch sunrise - Guaranteed fail

I will be able to speak if I end up near the Cider Bus on Wednesday or Thursday - Guaranteed fail

I will love sausages - Guaranteed fail (I'm a bacon boy at Glasto)

I will try to talk to girls more instead of getting really shy - Guaranteed fail

I will not mention it's my birthday on the Wednesday and offer all kinds of strangers alcohol - Guaranteed fail

I will not sign up for any petition or charity just because the girl with the clipboard has piercings, tattoos, dreads and wellies - Guaranteed fail

    • Well, I did not win the ballots on Bluelight for Lorde & Deftones. No surprise about Lorde as sold out but looks like the Deftones is not going to be one of those that you enter and win.
    • If they're regularly losing out on major artists because of production limitations, or if they're just monitoring the kind of stages other festivals and major concerts are able to come up with, Glasto could do with seriously upgrading their ambitions when it comes to the Pyramid stage, at the very least (probably Other also). I think, with the benefit of complete ignorance about anything remotely practical and relevant, they could pretty easily do this around the current permanent structure (though they should probably upgrade this also at some point), and obviously while retaining their shape-based idiosyncrasy.
    • Exactly! And was even married to a Brit for all of the 00s.
    • There's only one date that's not pretty much sold out 😂
