i can't get into any of the group forums

keeps saying the link is broken when i try to get into any of the groups, through the MFG link at the top of the page, or the "group forums" bit on the main festival forum page.

are you a member of any of the groups?

If you aren't, that'll be why you can't get in to them.

If you are, please let me know which groups, and I'll take a look and fix things.

yeah i'm a member of the glasto and rockness groups, i created the rockness group and can't even get into it.

rexclark can get into the groups fine on the same computer i'm using.

yeah i'm a member of the glasto and rockness groups, i created the rockness group and can't even get into it.

There's a small bug in the groups software add-on which causes people to lose their group memberships sometimes.

I've restored you to those groups, so you should be able to get into them now.

yep, I'll sort them all out within the next few days.

However, do please be aware that doing that is quite likely to be the thing which causes some people to lose one or more of their group memberships - I'm pretty sure that's where the bug lies in the groups add-on software which causes that problem.

(I don't think that bug affects everyone that's a member of a group that's deleted, I think it's dependent on where in their list of groups within their profile that group number is [it's not within a user's control] - I think the software doesn't deal with that groups listing properly).

I will check to see if there's an updated version of the groups add-on before deleting those old groups, as that might sort out that bug.
