They have a great sound and look like a lot of fun live. Really digging their recent album Machine Dreams, and they also have collaborated on a couple songs from the new Gorillaz. Anyways, they would be great at Glasto.

Says on their website they're supporting Scissor Sisters on the friday in Birmingham but then also says they're joining Gorillaz at Glastonbury..

Would a helicopter be fast enough? Doesn't seem like it.

I really want to know because if they aren't going to be there, I'm going with the Flaming Lips.

If you're watching Gorillaz for two songs I'd suggest you went to see the Lips whatever happens.

Well, not just for those two songs, but without them the quality of a Gorillaz set would dip significantly. Already too many songs where they just play the CD with nobody actually singing/rapping as it is.

Been listening to this album (Machine Dreams) after Bort has mentioned it in quite a few threads and after watching the Gorillaz live at the Roundhouse(??) before Glastonbury to decide if I was going to see them, it was when they were on that I got really into the Gorillaz.

Really liking it, in a strange way it's quite funky, but also very chiiled out.

Hoping they play next year now.

I love em. Saw them live in Camden in September. She is a really good front women with a good voice ans good energy. I like the sound, sort of Erica Badu but funkier. I would admit to liking the slower numbers with atmosphere like "Twice" and "Scribbled paper". I would like to see them in a smaller tent, maybe in one of the dance tents. I havn't seen anyone there before, it would be a first.

I saw them at The Big Chill in August, was very impressed with their live set, and they sounded great in the tent.

Must admit when I got back and listened to more of their music I wasn't all that impressed.
