Yes! Really love a bit of Jack Johnson, I know he's not exactly Led Zeppelin or The Rolling Stones but he'll still be great to see with a Brothers at the Jazz World (where I think he'll be). I think he'd suit a Pyramid slot in the afternoon even better but I'll take either :P

He sold out Hyde Park? That's astounding. I am guessing it was at the height of his fame when In Between Dreams was everywhere. That album nestled alongside A Rush of Blood to the Head, Back to Bedlam and the Cold Feet soundtrack for a while there. I very much doubt that he could sell it out now.

I suppose he's just really quite popular with the general public. I like him a lot but I don't necessarily think he's groundbreaking or the best thing in music - for me it's more kind of kicking back with a cider and listening to him during the Summer with some mates down the beach. Hopefully something I'll be doing at Glastonbury (minus the sand). :P

Saw him in Birmingham few years back and was enjoyable enough. First two albums were better than "in between dreams" personally.

and as above, G love plus Ben Harper, Donovan Frankenreiter etc would all be good additions.

edit: he's too big for Acoustic/Avalon. Wouldn't surprise me if he is afternoon pyramid to be honest.
