Chemical Brothers DJ set would be ideal, I think Faithless are one of the bigger dance acts not have played so good chance this year could be their turn.

Going to Etienne De Crecy in February as he is doing a bit of touring and would be good to have him in one of the tents with his cube before a headline act.

My sister was there and she said people were getting in fights and stuff cause everyone was getting pissed off. How big was crowd at manic street preachers?

yeah i did everyone else thought it was amazing i didnt ,,,,

first of all they were about 45 mins late and i qeued for ages i was not happy ...the tent they were playing in stunk off piss i mean it was making my eyes water ...and when u have seen them a few times like i have they get really same o same o ....the manics were bloody awesome so im glad i left ...

Rumours that Primal Scream are doing a "Screamadelica" tour this year. If true, not sure how that would fit in with any festival appearances, as sadly some of the crowd are more likely to want to hear "Rocks" and "Country Girl" than "Higher The Sun (A Dub Symphony in Two Parts)" or "I'm Comin' Down".

Thinking about it aye wonder what the clash arena headliners are guna be they always supirse me like Placebo wtf . They Always have a big dance act and a band but dont know maybe Massive Attack i dont know really.

Rumours that Primal Scream are doing a "Screamadelica" tour this year. If true, not sure how that would fit in with any festival appearances, as sadly some of the crowd are more likely to want to hear "Rocks" and "Country Girl" than "Higher The Sun (A Dub Symphony in Two Parts)" or "I'm Comin' Down".

idelwild isnt a bad shout, saw them at T aswell and they were good and again at strathy freshers week back in sept and they played a totally different set in a wee venue and it was amazing

Idlewild are a pale immitation of the band they used to be. They hold a lot of memories for me, but the night they torched those by playing songs off captain and then slagging them for being stupid but fun to play was the last straw. That and the fact that I'm the Message and When I argue sound like they came off the remote part when they play them because all the energy has been polished out off them.

If they play then Im sure people will really enjoy them and they do try to vary their set, but no matter what state I get in don't let me go.

yeah the first date I went on with my ex was to idlewild at tuts. 10 years later, our love of idlewild had died as the songs we fell in love to were deemed stupid.

so you were closer to the truth than you thought.
