Had a wee glasto dream last night!

Had one over Xmas !

The stalls area had been well improved by Mr Eavis and the gang and was under cover , as in your

typical indoor market - it had brand new black slate floors which were nice and clean and there were

indoor toilets.

Also the stages had been improved and were a mix of the typical Glasto stage and U2's spider thingy

and reminded me a bit of the annual Glasto fire show. Also I seemed to remember that somehow

there was a tent thing in front of the stage if you wanted an indoor experience , but it was just as

good outside on the slope if you wanted to watch the act from the fresh air - work that one out !!

Oh and I was pissed off cos I had forgot my digital camera ( I do not have one in real life ) and

my camera phone ( which I do ) to take pictures of it all

:P

I had a glasto dream too. There was a shopping mall in there :P

Me and my mate were looking for doctors costumes and another mate (who isn't going) drove us from our tent to the costume shop. Also remember waking my mate up with shouts of "EAGLE!"

Weird.

Last night I had a dream, that one day … I would be entering those glorious fields of Worthy Farm. I’d arrived early so I could write my email address on a large sign-up sheet which might entitle people to free entry to Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary. I’d just need to keep the same email address for 10 years.

I then spent some time in the laundry next to one of the Gates, sorting out board games to play and talking to a couple of people about camping at .

Now for the important bit:

The weather appeared sunny with a few clouds, however there was quite a bit of mud.

I had one last night....

I was at Glastonbury and realised that I had shorts and leggings and a skirt but I had brought no tops with me so I thought I'd go round the stalls and find a couple of tops.

The stalls were all in a kind of indoor market, a bit like "In Shops". I noticed that some people were camping in changing cubicles between the stalls and I thought that was a good idea so I threw my rucksack in one of the cubicles and started to get some of my stuff out before carrying on shopping for tops.

Then I met my friend Liz, who never goes to Glastonbury because she hates camping, and she was putting her tent up. So then I thought - I'll go and get my tent after all and camp with Liz as it'll be more fun, but then I couldn't find the cubicle where i left my stuff!

Eventually, I remembered that it was in the suitcases section of the market (there were hundreds of suitcases for sale). Then, just as I found my cubicle Jeremy Clarkson walked past and said in that condescending tone of his "Camping in cubicles is so totally for Glastonbury amateurs!"

It is going to take me all day to recover from being called a Glastonbury amateur by Jeremy Clarkson!

3 in the past week.

Have tried to remember what was in em but cant. Just always the nice feeling that you are at Glasto but at DreamGlasto which is always a very interesting place. Lots of funky additions you would love to see at the fest and with even more random shit going down.

I've had Glade-Glastos, super ridiculously flooded with an ornamental lake Glastos, actually sledging through the mud Glastos, nice picnic in the park style Glastos, very flourescent with sparkly bits and a German market Glasto, never finding the way in Glastos, taking a fat tabby cat with me (???) Glasto, meeting Eavis at the tickets gate, Burning Man Glasto, all the people who I would never even think of going to Glasto Glastos...and my favourites are always when I am back at Glasto with my boyfriend of the early Noughties... :P

brilliant every single one. :P

Hmmmm. Back in Oct/Nov? I had a dream there was a sneaky ticket resale window and I that managed to get my sister's/her boyf's/friend's tickets as I had all their details stored on my PC ready to go. And then I woke up, checked my emails and THERE was the email from Niblet saying they were on sale. Very, very weird. Was total deja vu when I then went and did the exact same thing in real life and managed to get the tickets.

Spooooooooooky.

haven't checked in here for ages, but I thought this dream from last night was worth a giggle.

I arrived with the two kids, was about to set up the tent and saw tent spaces were all marked out like in a car park, only with tape. My tent was too big to fit in one space, so I asked the lady next door if it was ok to use two spaces, since there were three of us.

She said "No, it's not alright. you can't possibly use two spaces. I am the head of the music department at Cheltenham Ladies' College and I say no."

:P:P:P

If the real head of music at Cheltenham Ladies College reads this, I'm sorry, you probably are a nice person and would have let me use two spaces!

Went to a very sunny, Glade like Glastonbury this morning. Chatted to lots of very nice blonde market stall holders and admired their craft items, hung with Strudders and Bubs for a bit, got silly with some hippies, managed to actually poi (something I cannot do in real life!) and woke up afterwards in a very happy state of mind. It was one of those nice G dreams where nothing too crazy happened. And the sun was very bright and golden. :P:P

    • Remain self-imposed on not going north of a hundred, but... we're getting to the point now where the starting gun will be above that for some acts.
    • I'm finding the lower line up a little impenetrable this year   Any thoughts on heavier bands a la Slift a few years ago?
    • Will be curious to see how most of those shows sell. Surprised they're playing Leeds and Manchester - much as I am with Megadeth. (Not complaining, mind you.)
