Definitely! There songs are completely universal and even if people arent considered "fans" they would still go along because its the "Jackson" family. It would be silly to suggest otherwise. I admit, I'd definitely go and see them!

Not wishing for r**n, but just love to see them dancing in wellies!

In fact given their ages now, dancing at all would be a feat

You don't need rain to wear wellies.

Look at all the annoying 'trendy' Kate Moss wannabees with the fairy wings every f**king year. It could be a desert and they'd still go around in their wellies and miniskirts.

It's a small point, but one that seems to really irk me.

Langdale,

Now you know if you were younger you'd be in there with 'em - face paint, glitter, pink wellies with flowers on, mini skirt.

We've never met, but I bet I'm right! :P

Nope.

I'm almost in my 30's but I'm grumpy. I have been grumpy all through my 20's and intend to be grumpy through my 30's and my 40's. And I will continue to be grumpy for the rest of my life, possibly increasing my grumpiness as I pass into my 50's.

I was born grumpy and was a grumpy teenager (not a rebellious chavvy one, just grumpy).

I assure you, that their are people who are able to look good in the fairy wings/wellies etc, but they're a small minority. I'm not saying all the winged folk of Pilton are annoying, merely most of them. The vast majority of them just want their faces (and legs) on BBC3. They make me grumpy.

Grumpy and proud - and never a cross dresser. I'm too grumpy for that.

    • Orbital opening the Other stage is a bold choice!
    • Great start for them
    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
