Don't forget there is also the 2nd Stage.

Not that i am going to saturday, due to money/other commitements. The support line up is not my taste either but i'm sure for some people that will be awesome. As i presume most people will be more rock orientated on this forum and the average atendee will be soul/funk for Saturday.

At least money is being spent on the line up with artists that are fairly big in there market. Hopefully this bears well for Sunday.

Well that's pretty much killed it for me, am paid up to see Macca on Sunday but don't think I'll shell out for Saturday.

After all the hype and possibilities I feel Stevie Wonder is a bit of a let down, not that I wouldn't mind seeing him but it means there will be nothing rock-minded in the entire Saturday. I'm gutted as like the Friday line-up but can't justify the cash and the hotel money going Friday & Saturday would need.

The funny thing is I can't see many people doing the full weekend as I doubt you'll find Stevie Wonder and Pearl Jam fans lapping up each others music.

To me this is the biggest disappointment of the festival season, I really could not sit through that support act setup even if I was mega up for Stevie. On top of that I reckon the tickets will be 'Macca priced' too.

Well thank god for V and Download.

Oh right ok! :P

Well he was the lead singer/songwriter of Creedence Clearwater Revival. I can bet if that name doesn't ring a bell, some of their songs will, everyone knows them!

Also, little known fact, he wrote "Rockin' All Over The World", made famous by Status Quo!

Being a big CCR fan, my favourite songs by them are Green River, Who'll Stop the Rain and Someday Never Comes.

Stevie Wonder is a great headliner, in fact all three are. However, all the other acts I feel so far, aren't that impressive.

Hopefully the rest of the Sunday lineup isn't as dire as James Morrison etc.

Think 'Hard Rock's biggest selling point this year is they haven't been fooled into thinking Kasabian are headline material like most other festivals!

Stevie Wonder is very tempting...but the rest of that day is a little disappointing...if they announce the Specials or Pixies before him might be tempted though...
