Staying Fat For Glasto

Agree body builders are gross. Lived in is fine - Johnny Quid from Rock N Rolla (seen here in one of my fave scenes) is better!

That brekkie actually isn't too bad is it? Mainly protein, some carbs and sugar in the beans but there's no fried bread or chips or hash browns. I say eat away.

i like the best of both worlds. about a year ago i got into running big time. would spend more than an hour on the treadmill (running's ace - makes you feel high as a kite B) ) and have three puddings at dinner cos i could. yum!

I was like you ie eat whatever and still be thin until I was about 28 then my metabolism changed and I suddenly found the beer and other high calorie foods like cake slowly began to make a mark on my waistline...

You may be lucky but I reckon your time will come eventually (if you don't exercise regularly and live a sendentary lifestyle). Enjoy your good fortune while it lasts B)

Gotta say, it's worth being fit for Glasto. I'm 36, and if I didn't do a bit of running to keep the old cardiovascular system in practice, Glasto would do for me.

The last thing you want is to be knackered and wanting a nap at 11pm.

Or drain all your energy by Sunday morning and succumb to some germ or other.

If I didn't keep reasonably fit, that would be me.

Having said that, I never say no to food. Exercise so you can eat. And I've haven't done any proper exercise since before Christmas. Not starting running again til this snow's out of the way. Gyms can bugger right off.

Mmmmm, pie bob.gif

There's no shortage of pie-based menu suggestions in the Glasto Food With Piccies thread so it's defo possible to plan your days for maximum pie munching time with just the bare minimum of inter pie stall wobbling and all that :P

Forgot to mention earlier that I'm just about to bung an entire large packet of something not dissimilar to these in the old oven:

sausage%20roll.jpg

Not strictly speaking a pie of course but kinda close and I defo don't expect there to be any left going all cold, soggy and stale in around 15 mins or thereabouts :P Shedloads of caffeine and around half a pack of ciggies plus these li'l beauts coming up soon. Way to start the day and all that !! yum.yum.yum. lick.gif
