I think they said something about not coming back to England for a very long time. They were awfully pi55ed off with their UK festival performances this year.

Any way seeing them at Glasto & seeing them in an Arena is a totally different experience and no I couldn't make it in 2008, so was hoping it being 40th anniversary and them being one of the most popular bands at the moment Michael would have them back.

Not really a band I've ever got excited about but mate persuaded to stay and watch them on the Friday night at T this year. They were a bag o'shyte and we left half way through.

Thank the lord Faith No More were on at the same time as the at Leeds

they're a victim of their own success! they were a perfectly good band until they released that shite "only by the night" last year! then they were at Reading Festival this summer (as unfortunately was I) and i went to see them having liked their older material and they had a full on paddy and shouted at the crowd then smashed up the stage and walked off without encore! it was f**kin funny to be honest! and this is my advice to them:

if you dont want kids at your gigs that have no interest in your older, more gritty, decent material and are really only standing there in silence waiting to hear you sing Sex on Fire then dont f**kin record a song like sex on fire!

here endeth the first lesson! i'm sure i have more!
