We Want Eminem As Headliner!

Anyone else who'd love Eminem to headline. I don't think he'd be as contreversial of a booking as Jay-Z was, as Eminem imo is better on so many levels, and his music is directed at all ages. As with Jay-Z it is kind of a select audience. Me and my dad both find Eminem great to listen to and we're both fans, so it shows a realy diversity. Also, Eminem would be a no-nonsense headliner who'd make a show of it. Anyone else want a bit of Eminem? Would love a Stan singalong ;)

I would LOVE to see Eminem headline, I've missed him twice, once in 2000 I went to see 50 Cent at B'ham NEC and he was ment to go on tour with him yet didn't go. The second I brought a ticket to see him but he canceled due to illness! So another chance to see him would be awesome and I think he would be amazing to see at glasto!

As i said. Saw him headline Reading some time ago ...(2001 maybe?) when he was really at his peak. And it was a halfhearted borefest ... and i really liked him back then. He made D12 do all the rapping apart from the final word of each line that he joined in. He then swore a bit and for his party piece swallowed a tic-tac pretending it was an E. Whoopy - f**king - do!

He has made openly homomphobic comments in his lyrics, and that would bring his position as a headliner into question. I can see that the Glastonbury organisers may see that someone that has had demonstrations about their lyrics at their gigs may cause for trouble for them.

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
