I just want to send a sincere thankyou to everyone on here that keeps people informed of tickets going back on sale, even when they're not supposed to be! I messed up this week, thought tickets would be on sale for months and thought I'd potentially missed out on my tenth Glastonbury. Had a realy shit week and this was the last straw. Thanks to you Smudger, I not only got myself a ticket, I got my wife one, and after 6 years of trying to persuade her to come, this means a lot. I've had my ups and downs with this forum but this is the second time people on here have helped me get tickets (the nightmare that was 2004 was the last time), so a big than you goes out to Neil and everyone else on here that helps everyone else!

Probably if we stop adding to the thread it won't keep being bumped and your horrendous spelling embarrassment will pass out of sight and out of time. :)

I have three mates, glasto regulars that haven't been since 2007 (or did last year on someone elses ticket) and hadn't even registered, they didn't think it would sell out even though I was texting and emailing them to register and get tickets on Sunday... now they are chomping at the bit waiting for resales... I saw the tickets in sale post at lunchtime and could have even saved their bacon today if they had registered in time... Well, months of waiting looking for ticket sales will be on the cards now...

*sigh*

I wish there was a free mass text system so that we could alert everyone on the forums that wants a ticket when they go on sale, or at least one that alerts me!!!

I feel exactly the same way - THANK YOU EFESTIVALS!! I've had a nightmare week, got one ticket on Sunday but ended up messing up and my boyfriend didn't get one. I was so so gutted as glasto is so special for us and it wouldn't be the same without him.. I've been blown away by how helpful everyone has been on here, and managed to get one today when Amfy texted me to let me know they were available! So thank you everybody for your loveliness, you all embody what glasto is all about.

Ok, sorry, soppy tirade over!

Hear hear. Was gutted on Sunday night when it looked like I wasnt going to make it four in a row - esp after I proposed to my fiancee near The Park Stage last year ... the invites to our engagment party at the end of the month even have a pic of the Pyramid Stage on them - and the site of them was making me glum.....

....until that top bloke / lady stuck the link on here earlier today....

...and now my fiancee and I can do in June what we had spoken about ever since we arrived home after this year's festival - go to Glastonbury 2010 dressed up as bride and groom - the pressure is on me to wear the dress....

    • Dokken are touring until the end of 26 and rumoured to be touring Europe in 2027 according to all the fan forums.    https://www.dokken.net/   Don Dokken still has the serious pipes. Like the Stones though, they'll demand a (deserved) huge fee and probably massive stage alterations.    100k at this. The guys who dress up in the Redcoat costumes bonging faecal sludge from the longdrops.
