I am a footy fan, and will be there on the Wednesday morning when the gates open. It makes Wednesday a great day and something to look forward to. Thursday for looking around and then kicking off at 4pm with the music etc. I'm really not bothered though about the other game. I can see it afterwards. I'm there because its Glastonbury and if its anything like this year i wont need the football.

Well pleased Emilys announced that it's game on for the Wednesday.

Looks like im gonna be taking Tuesday off work and heading down early on the train as i dont want to risk being stuck in Traffic on the Wednesday and missing the game, sure my girlfriend and her mates would love me having Radio 5 on the go rather than some music!

The mad thing is it's not so much the game itself im so desperate to see, is the oppertunity to watch a world cup game with thousands of others in a field, i think it will be an amazing experience.

I remember seeing Glasto on the news in 06 when we played Portugal and thought to myself 'Fu*k me! I dont think watching anywhere else apart from in the ground itself would top that!'

Now it's gonna happen :P

No it isn't!. Argument is an intellectual process. Contradiction is just the automatic gainsaying of any statement the other person makes. ...

:P

Even has a bit of footy action at the start just to keep things loosely on topic :P

[ding] Thank you, good morning :P

    • It's even less funny when in real life too...   Liddle met Rachel Royce and the couple soon became romantically involved.[84] In January 2004 the couple married at a ceremony in Malaysia. They had been living in Heytesbury, Wiltshire, and had two sons together. Six months later, Liddle moved in with Alicia Monckton, a 22-year-old receptionist at The Spectator. It transpired that he had cut short his honeymoon with Royce so that he could be with Monckton. Following their divorce, Liddle and Royce exchanged attacks in the media. Liddle called her a "total slut and slattern"
    • Got our purple outfits sorted.   What's the uptake on the fancy dress day?   Does everyone get involved with that one as well?
    • he was a provocateur
    • He was also arrested for allegedly punching his pregnant girlfriend.   Such a charmer.
    • George Borg - now he was a character. Both terrifying and endearing, often in the space of 5 minutes. Entertaining times back then!
