I hope england go out in the group stages. Quite why anyone would want to miss any of the glastonbury entertainment to stand and clap a load of overpaid primadonnas is beyond me.

Win lose or draw the atmosphere afterwards will be awful.

3 defeats in the group stages will do nicely please.

Don't get me wrong, i'm 19 and I think football is a load of shit, I really dislike everything it stands for bar one thing. And that is the community aspect it brings to fans.. I don't like it when people argue about which team is better but when the majority of people standing in that field watching England play will be supporting them there is bound to be a f**king fantastic atmosphere.

And it's for that reason I'd happily go and scream, shout and clap when rooney heads a lampard into the defenders cross bar!

COMMON YOU STRIKERS!

Agree with this, each to their own I suppose thou.

But I'm not watching 22 mincers chasing a bit leather when there's the wonders of Glastonbury to explore.

the atmosphere at glastonbury is the greatest anywhere in the world. I dont really think we need a football match to bring everyone together.

good grief

and if anyone is at glastonbury and is miserable because a football team lost, well, you dont deserve to be there.

I've never heard anything like it

Centre? What centre?

The Centre for surgical removal of potato products from shoulder joints?

The Centre for research into atrocious music tastes?

The Centre for online gaming addiction? (It's very good there).

Anyway - I reckon it'll actually be on between 5.45 and 6pm after all the shite is out of the way. Though if Charlize Theron gets her norks out, I'm setting the Sky +.

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
    • Yeah Roy's Tune was lovely. Looking forward to the whole thing hopefully going on iPlayer.   It's scattered dates they have this year really, proper tour/s to come next year - suspect a new single will drop in the next couple of months, providing the album is done.
    • Sounds fabulous. Totally fabulous.    These are the moments that are needed for mind and soul.
    • Sounded in really excellent form, loved Roy's Tune and Big Shot making an appearance. They've got their European tour starting on Saturday so imagine we might hear new material.
