Seetickets Queuing System......

Not going 2010 so didn't try for a ticket but I'm puzzled over this 'queue' that Seetickets had running after you made your payment choice.....did anyone sit in it religiously and get through...or was it just simply refreshing the screen for you, and leaving the less tech savvy at a distinct disadvantage...?

need to know to be prepared for 2011... :)

aha....thought so. so why did they do it? surely See or GFL would have known that anyone sticking with it was likely to be beaten by those of us (you) that were refreshing at light speed....and were therefore knowingly leaving lots of people at a disadvantage... :)

anyone who did get through must have been damned lucky.

I got through to putting in ref numbers & postcodes about 9.05 and left one screen in the 'queue' and kept refreshing/resubmitting my other screens - it was still in the queue at around 12pm when it eventually threw me out.... We had long got tickets on the others!

Got my ticket at nine and went out for the day. When I returned in the evening I tried again for a mate and had about 5 windows opened and in the queuing system-4 finally came up as sold out but at exactly the same time the final one allowed me to enter the reference number & post code. It turned out my mate had ordered one without getting the confirmation screen so I just shut it down.

Nearly put a message up on here asking if anyone needed one but didn't think anyone would believe me plus it would mean someone trusting a stranger with their bank details which is a lot to ask even for a Glastonbury ticket

I got my tickets at 8.57.

Tried at 20.20 for my brother. Queue page came up, i reloaded, put details in, got nodules page, refreshed and bingo 9 mins later i had more tickets.

I dont believe it was a queue because if it was how, did i get through so quick whilst others were waiting and unsuccessful?

was an utter load of rubbish tbh... even in 07 when the tickets sold out in 2 hours i had less trouble with the site than this time...

its stupid that once you get through it kicks you straight off again then have to try and get back in all over again!

Utter piss take, and that queing system is total FAIL.

Logged in about 11.15, when the queing screen came up I just went back to the previous page and then went forward again until it took my to the next screen. Did this for the payment screen too until i was told my reg no's had been used so therefore had tickets! The whole process took me about about half an hour. The trick with this type of thing is if it tells you to wait, ignore it.

This year was the easiet its ever been for me, Ive always been at my comp early with all my details ready to go and every year its been a nightmare for me managing to scrape through very late in the day usually just before they sell out... ticket day this year was my turn to be lucky and thats all it can be put down to...pure luck that i got thorugh

I got through straight away at about 8:50 never had to refresh, got the payments details page clicked submit then got the no nodes to service your request, saw my registration number had already placed a deposit, went to sleep and got my confirmation about an hour later which i saw when i woke up. :)

Easy better than the 4 hours of constant refresh hitting like last year :)
