ze german invasion is now well established. do not reist, or it might drizzle. do not accept offers of help from the french...they would only bring rain, and score an own goal with anelka :-)

I've packed 3 bottles of suncream and 3 waterproof ponchos to even things out.

DO NOT unpack the wellies - in 2005 the forecast was like this when we left, so we left the wellies in the car - and we all know what happened then!! I got infected legs that year from mud going over the top of my wellies and I REALLY don't want that again - please take wellies!!

Too much packing and work to do, so I'm going to try to stay off here today.

It's been an emotional rollercoaster, but we're nearly there. There have been times of fear, stress and doubt, but we've stuck together through adversity and the happy ending is so close I can taste it. We need to continue with NRNC until Sunday evening to keep those thunderstorms at bay. Thanks to LW, everyone else on here and the great nation of Germany. I shall be searching out a Bratwurst stall for my first meal on site.

Whatever anyone says, this weather didn't make itself - we made it. May these tears which are so freely flowing down my cheeks be the only water I see for the next week.

I love you guys.

Seconded devonhammer - it's been emotional but we did it in the end.

This weather is of our making and I can't wait to leave the office in 4.5 hours and enjoy it! We deserve every scorchio second of our hard work but mustn't get complacent, not now!

You guys are AWESOME!!

I too shall be there in me England shirt (if the kebab stains have come out from last weekend - nice!) cool cider in hand - we'll match!

The only damp ground I expect now is a beer sodden pyramid stage field where we all forget ourselves and throw caution to the wind (and let's face it, cider and beer) whilst celebrating England winning and getting through.......please :D

I've been glued to this thread for the last few weeks, it's been one of the best internet threads of all time. And I've been on a few . Excellent work everyone, may sneak around looking for you over the weekend and if I'm feeling really courageous might even introduce myself.

NO RAIN, NO MUD, NO COMPROMISE!!!

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
