shoebox
The big clash for me, at a very quick glance, is Malcolm Middleton and The Acorn. Although I have seen The Acorn a couple of times before, so not a massive, massive problem. Need time to take this all in though. Definitely need to be on site and tent set up by midday. No way I'm missing The Leisure Society opening the festival.

ljsawyer
T-Model Ford! How did I not know of this before? I have quite a lot of clashes but should be able to work around them. Most annoying for me is the end of Fleet Foxes vs. Howlin Rain vs. The Travelling Band - ouch!

DragKnuckles
Well spotted - Motel Motel got missed off the listing. Just to note - there has been a lot of data entry into the database (bands, stages, days, times), and I may have made some mistakes along the way. If you spot anything you think might be incorrect please let me know. Edited August 13, 2009 by DragKnuckles
sadwitch
nothing too hideous in clash terms i can spot right away! It's gonna be a busy one though hopefully not as mad as sunday last year!
geofelgie
Hmmmmm.....Dan Michaelson & the coastguards clashing with Steve Earle is the one that leaps out at me......already guessed Horrors vs Fleet Foxes and Richmond Fontaine vs Hold Steady. But where did Jarvis Cocker and Richard Hawley DJ set leap out from? Did I miss that? How many bands are they going to try and guest with before their set? shoebox
I will properly, properly die with excitement if they feel the urge to strap on their guitars and perform some Pulp classics!

frogmanstar
If they do an adhoc version of "Common People" on the coloured dance floor in the woods then I think Swindles may also die with excitement...or at least faint with excitement... Hey Swindles?!
airboy paul
Hmmm, I'm really not keen on Sunday at the moment. There are no must-see bands on that day for me, unless there are a couple of the unknown bands for me to discover between now and then (have had a trawl through Spotify for most that are there so far). At first I was pleased with the no clashes for me, but then I investigated and found that I really quite like both The Mummers and Iain Archer, who both have a slap-bang big clash. hmmmm. Anyway, Friday is Ohbijou, Loney dear, Shearwater, The Mummers/Iain Archer for me. Saturday is Leisure Society, The Acorn (then leaving them early to see:), Laura Gibson, Efterklang, and Fleet Foxes because the lady wishes to see them. Sunday, I'm just not sure yet. Nothing jumps out especially, but will listen more. Will probably go home on the Sunday evening again I reckon though.

DragKnuckles
airboypaul - may i suggest Tallest Man on Earth...for me he is the most talented singer/songwriter-type at the festival this year with an awesome voice with a hint of gravel! Songs like "Walk the Line", "Where do my Bluebird Fly" and "I Won't Be Found" are truly staggering...I am more excited to see him than any other artist I think...check him out
kiototar
Well, I am a bit sad because of the bands times... I'm gonna miss too many bands, but, ehem, this year I checked most of the bands who are playing so... I think is the most normal thing. It pisses me off, anyway!!! NEKO CASE is my pending acount and the most desired artist I wanna see, and I wanted to see THE DODOS as well but... I'll see them in Spain in december. SHE KEEPS BEES, ZUN ZUN EGUI, THE LEISURE SOCIETY, LONEY DEAR, WILDBIRDS & PEACEDRUMS, THE TALLEST MAN ON EARTH, FLEET FOXES, WAY OAK... for sure. Sorry 4 my english and see U all!
