Get yourself away from the more, ahem, 'commercial' areas and the spirits still there. The past two years I spent the majority of my time pottering around the greenfields and the smaller stages and it's all still there.

With any event that is as big as it is with the press you are going to have a mixxed bag.

I think I felt it - and so want to find some more :-)

It was my first G and my goodness it won;t be my last. For once in my life I could be me - totally me without comment or predudice.

I don't know how to explain this without drivelling on and on , but I found something and I just can;t put my finger on it.

The only other time I've felt that way was at my hen weekend here (http://www.fairylove.com/) when I introduced a little bit of magic to my closest friends

Whether it was being able to walk around wearing what I wanted to, absorbing the sights, sounds and smells around me or whether it was just lending all tents around us our pump for pumping up air beds and getting into sharing a cider or two and having great conversation I loved Glastonbury.

I didn;t get to spend enough time in the healng fields or the Glade and next time we have agreed we will experience more stuff in those area's, but for a beginner I felt the G spirit

Where do I find the true fairies ?

Met some great people shared some great experiences, I don't think Glastonbury has changed all that much in the 7 years I have been going.

I think it is just rose tinted glasses some folks have, if you didn't have a good time look at yourself first!!!!

If you stayed within the pyramid then you missed out on oh so much....

i noticed the vortices all weekend too! the gulls were particularly freaky. we spent hours pondering the meaning of the sky lanterns going in different directions too. well minutes at the very least, before our concentration was diverted to yet another delightful discovery. :D i didn't have mushrooms either.
