Hopefully our liftshare will have remembered to pick us up at around 10:30 from J41 of the M1 so we should be somewhere around birmingham and by this time I'll have checked the tickets for the 238th time but we will be making new friends, having a laugh, getting excited and hoping we get there in time for the football and for me to have my face painted like a tiger or a moth or a badger. I've not decided which yet!

I'll have queued up at 8am more excited than a child at Christmas, put the tent up, had a bimble around, watched the World Cup & right now be partaking in the fun & merriment of the E-Fest meet!

Oooooh I'm so excited I could crush a grape!

Hopefully will have met a couple of decent people by this time in the next two weeks, will probably be a little messy after having a dry spell recently.

I must admit that at 38 years of age ive not been this excited since i discovered the ladies underweasr section of the Kays catalogue as a young teenager

I'll probably be standing in glorious sunshine, sipping my third or fourth can of cold lager and listening to Golden Silvers at The Park.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
    • Taxi mafia running their usual scam.
