New Lineup according to Wikipedia

OK, if true that gives us Bat for Lashes and The Pretenders on top of what we know (but V haven't necessarily told us) and the Wino rumor obviously.

If it were true, I'd be putting a tick in the happy column. Pretenders are excellent, I like what I've heard from Bat for Lashes and I'll give Wino a go, she was dire at Glasto but if clean and on top of her game would be fantastic.

hmm that line up still has some of what was announced via Wiki before

which wasn't announced but was The Hours, The Golden Silvers, VV Brown & Gomez

no though Gomez and The Hours have been taken off

but The Golden Silvers are still there, but they aren't playing because they've confirmed they're playing Reading and Leeds instead, so, its not really reliable that line up

That being said though I can see the acts they've added playing and they're great additions

The Pretenders were on Jools Holland last night weren't they?

Why do people persevere with Winehouse?

It annoys me that Docherty (who is far more talented) gets loads of grief for his behaviour but shithouse just gets sympathy.

Don't pay any attention to Wikipedia! They have had the most ridiculous stuff up there before. I seem to recall that Boyzone were headlining Download on there a few months back :D

    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
