I have bought a VIP 3 night ticket. i'm assuming this means that VIP camping and the car park are included in this? last time i got one it seemed the only perk was the area next to the main stage. anyone help with this?

I think the main campsite is a major part of the festival experience.

don't think i'll camp in the VIP camping. my girlfriend wanted to get them for the toilets/shower etc. i'll just rough it as usual.

The toiletas in the main capmpsite are fine anyway so it's not really worth the extra money IMO.

The campsite toilets were cleaned frequently last year. Going for a dump at a festival was, for the first time, actually a fairly pleasant experience!!

In my view the only benefit of the VIP tickets are the showers, which I doubt I'd use anyway. As people have said the toilets at Rockness were great last year. I went in one to do a piss, left it as I had got it. Spotless. The moment I opened the door some wee lady was screaming to get in to give it a spray and wipe! lol she was literally chasing people out the toilets so that she could clean them!

i knew i shouldn't of got one, i've managed the last 2 years fine and many a T in the Park. I can't see myself going for a shower at a festival, its kind of cheating. And I agree with the toilets last year, amazing! Hardly any Q's and really clean. I feel i've wasted my money now.

I've only had showers at a festival once. Tangerine field at T 2 years ago. Worked out well as that was the ultra muddy one!

I mean yeah you can make do with a box of wet wipes and a torry shower. But it doesnt come close to starting the day after a nice warm real shower!

I wouldnt pay the VIP for it, but if I had it i'd sure as shit use it!

I've got VIP tickets purely for the showers, I wont be camping in the VIP area caus I recon I'll annoy a few folk with music late at night if I do. Oh and my girlfriends going so it will make life a lot easier for me if she can get a shower

judging by the stories of how many tickets have been sold, i doubt that queueing for tokens will be much of a problem.

Well I managed to sneak my way in at 07 and thought it was boring as hell and full of old people lol. Got outta there and headed to the chappa as fast as I could!
