A day on the farm

As it was such a lovely day 3 of us decided to take a drive up the M5 to Pilton and have a look to see how the farm looked. A few pics for your viewing pleasure (they're not great pics but just look at all that green ).

Looks like you had a nice sunny day with blue skies for your visit.

Worthy Farm has not started it's metamorphisis yet into our favourite festival site as yet it would appear

Won't be long now before the fence starts to be built and the transformation begins....

I'm looking forward to the first operational live webcam view appearing which hopefully won't be too long now - fingers crossed.

If any locals are in the know; when does festival work on the site actually start happening?

It was a glorious day weather wise. There were a few people working down near the railway track but not a great deal going on.

i drove by the site on way way to and from devon/cormwall over the weekend

looks great...i went to glastonbury town for the first time as well, not bad

shouldnt it be called the pilton festival though?

awesome! isnt it strange when u realise that there is actually alot of trees there but it isnt noticed so much when u are there during the festival? or is that just me being blind drunk for four whole days?

I love stone sculptures, especially wheathered ones with moss on that dont strike u as a sculpture until u look closely, makes me think of enchanted woods and stuffs.

Presumably it's the Permaculture crew, who stay on site long term to maintain the garden.

Though there's a few more tents than I'd have expected from them.
