i'm not a massive fan, but i like a few songs so i'm happy about this ;)

if they were 3rd on the radiohead day, i would probably watch just for the experience, and to get a good spot for radiohead too (y)

Really they were second at Download?

shit man

Download this year have really kicked it up a gear then

when I went to see them in 06 im sure the tickets were cheap, like £12-15

hang on, I just checked my ticket, it was March 2007 and it was £17.50

It was the Tool / Metallica / GnR year so I think they had blown most their budget on the headliners, and put bands like Deftones and FFAF as second headliners ;) .

4th sounds right to me then, with FFAF 5th on that day, Rise Against 6th, Offspring 2nd and er... a MYSTERY BAND 3rd...

I disagree I think Korn are still a big band and deserve second place at Download this year, when you have Limp Bizkit below them and Faith No More above them, its a strong top 3

Plus Korn last tour was like £35, so double Deftones tour, and im pretty sure it was bigger venues, maybe only just but they played the Civic by me, which is like a 1000 more capacity than The Academy which Deftones played

Im not sure on album sales [uK or Europe or worldwide] who would be the bigger act overall and currently though

If Weezer were to play on Sunday theyd be above Deftones, no question.

I reckon there might be another band above FFAF, their stock has fallen since '07 when it wasn't exactly amazing. Could end up looking like this:

Radiohead

Offspring

Weezer

Deftones

Gallows

Funeral For A Friend

Bowling For Soup

Rise Against

Madina Lake

Mastodon

Mastodon is really just wishful thinking, seeing the combination of Blood Mountain and Crack The Skye live would get me geared up for Radiohead in a great way.

I would have thought Fall Out Boy will be top 3 on the AM/KoL day, with 36CF being a Lock-Up band, no? Also, 30STM keep getting rumoured every year but hardly ever do it.

36 Crazyfists arn't really a lock up band... at least I've never heard Mike Davies play them. I'd imagine they'll be low mainstage Sunday, can't see anywhere else suitable, unless one of the R1 tent days has some alternative rocky stuff and not just... indie.

At the moment I'm thinking Lostprophets and Fall Out boy as the top 2 below KoL, mmm.

I've enjoyed both of their Reading Performances in 98 and 2000 altho I wouldn't say they were mindblowing/stick in the memory but I liked them...98 was good more for the amusement of watching Cheno holding onto his jeans most of the show and trying to stop them falling down because he had them so low down his waist...lol

    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.

    • I don't think I'm alone as a Scotland fan that there is no way that I could possibly fall asleep knowing we're about to play our first World Cup game in 28 years! Pure adrenaline is keeping me wide awake (and plenty of rum)!
    • Trying to stay awake for the footy so it’s just the easy option of a battery😊😉
