If Blink played they would headline, they played 2nd last time they turned up and they're miles bigger now.

Just because you've moved on to 'cooler' music now, doesn't mean others still can't appreciate them for what they were, which was a heck of a good time.

Saying all that, they are shite live! Seen them 5 times they were absolutely rubbish 3 times, average at best twice and properly ace the once

Strangely I was listening to their last album on Friday, its actually very good.

How are they miles bigger now than last time they played exactly?

I'm not the only person who used to be a fan who no longer likes them, they have lost a lot of fans. I don't doubt that others would appreciate them, but it would be less than if they played a few years ago. I personally do not think they should headline and would be quite surprised if they did, but I guess all we can do is wait and see.

I thought All the Small Things was their biggest hit too??? When you mention Blink 182 to people now it's certainly the song most people think of.

They had sold out an arena tour prior to last time they played but canceled it because of the terrorist attacks in America.

When I say they've lost a lot of bands I mean exactly that. People grow out of all kinds of bands all the time (especially pop punk bands such as Blink 182). The fact that they haven't been going for the last few years means that they would have lost more fans than they have gained in that time period. Plus they had already lost a lot of fans from years before, I know most of my friends used to love them and msot of them were no longer what you would call fans by the time they split up.

Can't point at anything specific, just remember hearing that it was as I was surprised it outsold ATSM too, bound to be something out their that give the stats. It was far a far more mainstream hit than All the small things, it was plastered all over all kinds of radio stations.

yeah it still gets occasional airplay on radio1. seems to be the only song of theirs that gets played now apart from the likes of small things and first date on the wonder years etc.

so much so it quickly became really really boring.

they have been greatly missed, the other day facebook was completely littered with people saying how excited they were that blink have reformed.

was listening to their very early stuff and is very hard to see mark tom n travis come out with any of those songs live, especially after becoming alot more seriouso with their newer bands/projects.

A bit from wiki,

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"I Miss You" is the second single from Blink-182's 2003 Blink-182 album. It was released in February 2004. In the music video, they play at a haunted mansion. The video was also featured on their 2005 Greatest Hits album.

The song reached #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart and peaked at #42 on the Billboard Hot 100. Although "All The Small Things" had more radio airplay, "I Miss You" sold more singles, having been certified platinum after selling over 1,000,000 copies (RIAA platinum single certification). Also, It was #3 in Argentina with a run of fifteen weeks, [1] and #8 in the United Kingdom.
