I've been holding out for Voivod for a couple of months now....one of the few bands I haven't ticked off my must-see list (gutted I was never able to see the classic line up).

Sacred Reich and Nuclear Assault would both be very welcome too!

has anyone else heard of this utterly shit band called Metro Station? they're being touted as a rumour on the official forums, and its the worst thing i've heard in a long time. they make Fall Out Boy sound like Napalm Death.

i'm literally beyond comprehension on listening to them. it's just SO bad. so so so so bad. the only benefit of it is that it helps me realise how superior i am to some of the bottom feeders who live on this planet. i have way more respect for pop music fans who don't like rock/metal than i do for supposed 'rock' fans who like this sort of throwaway toss. its shit manufactured cheese music dressed up as rock and its just plain f**king awful. god, i don't even hate MCR anymore on listening to these guys, Gerard Way might as well be f**king Phil Anselmo in comparison.

no band has made me write such a vitriolic rant in a while.

f**k THIS AWFUL SHIT BAND OFF.

The Greenfields festival inSwitzerland is on the same weekend as Download and they have Slipknot and Korn headlining so hopefully we might get some of the other bands on their line up too.

See http://www.greenfieldfestival.ch/english/index.php for details.

I hope we get Flogging Molly for a mid afternoon dance in the sunshine!

    • Seems the addition of the Sun Stage area is interesting. Suspect this is the area where the Stage 4 used to be pre-2024. Looks as though they want to try create some space to keep people in amongst the arena post-headliners, rather than just crowds all descending back on the campsite entertainment at once.
    • 2000 Trees - 3 Day Tickets on Concert for Carers to buy (pair £15) sure they will not have them for long, I cant check if they are still available as it now says I have already bought tickets.
    • times and technology has changed , a pyramid headliner is often about the show thats put on as much as the music like it or not and as much as many would like to you cant really blame an artist for trying to get the best out of the set both for the audience in the field and for the cameras also .... Beyonce was 15 years ago
