V Staffs Group Forum reopen

The V Festival staffs group forum is now reopened but all previous memberships have been wiped

So you have to reask to join either officially so I get a PM or just ask here

I've added some polls up to be filled in and as I have control, Ill make sure the same threads don't pop up over and over and the important ones stay at the top

all good fun, in the build up to the excitement of the line up announcement

Right, I'm gonna get straight down to it...No messing about....

My wish list DOES NOT contain Kasabian!!! Not because I don't like them...I genuinely do... BUT in NO WAY are they a headline act. They've been to V fest on too many occasions in recent years and quite frankly, I feel V needs a break from them for at least 2 years. They need more history, music-wise before they can be considered for this slot, surely?

The bands I personally would like to see put in a performance here are:

Sex Pistols or P.I.L (currently on the verge of touring as P.I.L)

Red Hot Chili Peppers (haven't been to V for a few years)

Moby (Hasn't been to V since 2000 and definitely needs to be invited to put in an appearence!)

Coldplay (Again, not been here since parachutes album!)

R.E.M (Never been to V.... EVER!!)

Florence and the Machine (Would be a welcome new act)

Dizzy Rascal (Because I missed him last year!)

Paul Weller (Well, he's just great, isn't he?!)

Adele (To my knowledge, never been here)

Velvet Revolver (Never been)

Faithless (Haven't been seen here for a while)

Pendulum (They Rocked last year!!)

Come on Organisers..... Give us something we haven't seen for a while! I've been faithful to V Festival since the year 2000. But If I'm not overwhelmed this year at V2010, I'll be going to Isle of Wight Festival next year, they seem to attract better and alternative artists.

But the group forums are going to be closed down with the revamp of the site, to be honest we dion't need it cus everyone is being ok on the regular forums

So no point to it

because of the upgrade, it no longer possible for new people to join any groups, or for new groups to be created.

The existing groups will continue until the end of the year. Another groups solution might be put in place as a replacement around then.

Im confused!! Last year I can on here every so often and had a look at what was going on without needing to do anything (apart form the standard reg) Do I need to do something to read the Stafford board???
