So Orbital headlining the Main Stage on the Saturday then? Or what they classing as the 'main arena'?

Looks like it from the Official Site

ROCKNESS organisers today confirmed influential electronic timelords ORBITAL are set to reform for a headline mega show at the Highland festival this summer.

Celebrating 20 years of roof-raising anthems and cinematic sounds, the fraternal trailblazing duo Paul and Phil Hartnoll will perform on Saturday 13 June in the main arena in what promises to be a truly celebratory comeback.

Having stumbled across rockness by complete accident in its first year i have yet to miss it.

Last years line up was not that impressive in my humble (ahem) opinion but i still went.

the headliners i am unconvinced about, feel dizzy and biffy belong at download or something, basment jaxx aint big enough and the prodigy are far to aggressive for rockness's friendly atmosphere.

Orbital were good back in the day, when everyone thought electronic music was a phase but i think are pretty passed it now (and so not as good as daft punk(from what i remember(i think, scary year that one))).

everyone is so quick to slag of others peoples likes without actually realising how personal peoples music tastes can be.

I can honestly say, that regardless of who plays at this amazing, picturesque location, that i will be there with feking bells and whistles on and this year, i plan on remembering most of it to :P

Orbital are complete legends and I’m really buzzing that they have got back together, they are a huge influence on the electronic scene in general and have some real belters in their catalogue. Playing live, they are truly amazing, people should be honoured that they are getting another chance to see them live again. It's a real shame some people don't seem to appreciate some of the original dance acts such as Orbital, Underworld and The Prodigy.

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
