Jim King, the festival's director said, "Orbital are legends and they are a great addition to the Rock Ness Saturday night line-up. Listening to tracks like 'Chime' and 'Belfast' in such a dramatic setting is going to be a highlight of the weekend."

One of the most influential acts in dance music history, Orbital accompany their music with expansive audio-visuals, and their trademark torch-glasses. The band who introduced an improvisational element to live electronic music formed in 1989, and enjoyed a dazzling 15-year stint before bowing out gracefully four years ago. The duo's live comeback will coincide with the 20th anniversary of their debut single 'Chime'.
