do you not remember jimi telling the crowd at the start of the track "look up glastonbury, this kind of thing doesnt happen very often" and the skies were perfectly clear with a full clear moon gleaming out over the site and they just ripped it up with spaceface

perfect end to a perfect gig!!

that moments burnt into my consciousness

fantastic night

wasnt too impressed with the sound in brum, havnt been the academy for awhile but seem to think it used to be better

but anyway still a cracking gig, new stuff sounds tight, think they could really take of this year with this album / tour / festivals.

jetstream - good song but i just dont think its an opener.

10.03 - even better live, simply stunning

complusion - brilliant live track, breaks the set up well.

setlist was the same as posted here from the opening night. brothers girlfriend actually managed to get a copy of it from somebody.

if nothing else its just got me even more excited for glasto, bring it on :lol::lol:

A great review of the Brighton gig here

A good last line..

This performance rids of the woes, and only re-affirms everything that makes Doves one of the best bands in the world, even if only 1/100 of the world knows it...

with the news that Kasabian are playing saturday evening i now have everything crossed for a saturday night performance from Doves

kasabian will finish up about 9pm due the ridiculous set length time the boss is being given, giving plenty of time for a short hop to the JP for Doves to finish out the saturday in style

what a great day that would be for me. :(

Went to see Doves last night. Excellent show, was great to see them back in Belfast. Met Jimi Goodwin before the gig, he gladly stopped for a chat and had my photo taken with him. Also signed my copy of Kingdom of Rush. A sound chap
