couldn't agree more mate :)

Rammstein are on my list of bands i've not seen and really want to!!

completely leftfield idea for a performer here - skunk anansie (apparently reforming, new material etc)

they're also on the list! haha

Just realised that there are no female fronted bands yet rumoured for this years download, any chance of lacuna coil? arch enemy? return of within temptation? or yeah yeah yeahs? (don't knock them Karen O is a fox!)

EDIT: Just thought of another, Courtney Love?? New album out next month, was rumoured last year? could be possible.

I'd say if Courtney Love has an album out she is pretty possible. Within Temptations I'd love to see again but might be too soon as they wouldn't exactly move anywhere in the line up. Lacuna Coil is hopeful given the singer was on stage with Apocalyptica last year so she must like the festival.

Just noticed Sacred Reich are about in Europe Download time with a massive empty space in their dates.

Hopefully will play somewhere on the bill.

Im liking most of the rumours so far, if they all come it'll be an awesome festival. I would like to see Lynryd Synyrd show up in one of the festivals this year. It doesnt look like ACDC will be doin any which will be a shame. I'm suprise Black stone Cherry arent on the rumours - At most of tehre gigs they have a meet and great and were going on about appearing at download again this year to loads ppl.

Having looked at the few festivals Placebo have confirmned so far, Download might be a good bet as they are doing Rock am the week before and then nova rock the week after.

Machine Head I don't think will play, I think they will do a big UK headline tour instead in september/october time, and probably something with Metallica beforehand.

NIN I'm thinking mebbe, but more likely a big UK tour.

Prodigy I doubt because 3 festivals in 3 days is a bit much.

Rammstein i'm really unsure of. the album's not out till autumn and I think massive world tour will follow that, but I bet they've been asked and some bands like to tour before an album is released to remind people about them.

Alice In Chains I reckon will play.

Slipknot I think will headline the sunday.

Marilyn Manson i reckon will play 2nd again.

Korn I think will play 2nd spot.

Anyways i'm thinking....

Fri

Nine Inch Nails

Placebo

Sat

Rammstein

Marilyn Manson

Sun

Slipknot

Korn

...is probably gonna be way off ;) But is my guess anyways.

    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo    Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
    • Proper loser behaviour wearing a tee like that. Me and my mate play a game every year called ‘Boomer Tees’ and there’s some gems every time.
