Awwww don't be putting your fellow fatties down like that, you/they have worked hard eating all those pies so can fill as much of the goals as possible and prevent us non-thinkers from blasting the ball past them.

Indeed...

someone at number six in the world..

Two less than that posh twat Henman..

Be proud Scotland, your hero is not quite as good as Henman.

Three cheers for the bloke almost as good as someone not very good!

woo!

Can I just state here for the record that Tim Henman was a fantastic tennis player (to those who know anything about tennis).

If Stevie Gerrard is ever good enough to be rated at 4th best player in the world then its safe to assume he'd be fantastic too. (but maybe not at tennis).

Yes yes Peevis... I've heard it all before, and will happily stick it down your throat with a grenade attached! :D:(:P

I don't "come from" London, I "live in" London! :D I suppose you're from a "hollowed-out island" or live in one do you?! Numpty!!! :D

If it helps you at all..

Scousers are even worse.

Boris was SO right. Greif addicted, support group twats who were thrown out of Ireland for being so f**king annoying!

But if you are a "proud" Welshman, why would you want to live in Evil England?

I don't geddit? Surely you either love the place and stay and make it better, or you move.

I have no issue with you moving at all. It's a round world. just be consistent!

But its not.It hasn't been for centuries.A lot of Scots waste their time being bitter towards the English when there's no point. We speak the same language, share essentially the same sort of culture and suffer from the same problems. We really ain't that different.

To the Welsh credit, they still have their own language, which marks them out as being slightly more different than the Scots IMO. Anyway,England doesn't exactly occupy Scotland,it was called the act of union for a reason :( .We joined as brothers!

What is a country to you, "King" Blue?! ( :P ) I would say that it was as much abstract concept as concrete apparatus of state. We don't get patriotic and cream ourselves over systems of governance, constitutions and legislature (unless we're very odd!) - what stirs passions is a feeling of belonging, and you just have to accept that a significant proportion of Scots and Welsh people have a deep set feeling that they are not the same as or an intrinsic part of England. Britain was a good stab at a false concoction of nationhood but many don't feel that like they feel their individual nationality.

Sifi will back me up here - when Italy didn't exist, it took the rhetoric of Mazzini et al to create a feeling of Italian nationality some years before Garibaldi and his troops took the military action required to unify the territory, set up the state etc.

    • No dramas man, I just like to follow others journeys as well. Get the inspiration, give out inspiration and the outdoors is the clear the head place to do it. I'm heading out for a easy trail run today I think, 10k- 10 mile we'll see how we go. I've got a half marathon in October I'm well unprepared for hahs
    • The Cheap Thrills at Mountford Hall, Liverpool.    They've been around for a while and have built up a large local following. Last night was their biggest yet, at a sold out 2,200 capacity venue.    It was a big old joyous, indie singalong from start to finish, the band clearly having the time of their lives. The debut album is out next month and they seem to be going down well on the festival circuit, maybe their time has finally come.   2 supports, I unfortunately missed Credits but the few songs they have on Spotify sound good, Americana vibes. The other was M60, reportedly Gary Neville's favourite band. If that's true, he's as clueless about music as he is football. To be fair, their sound was poor, maybe with a clearer sound they'd have been better but it was pretty dull.
    • I can see them all merging along with the Tory’s . Restore curently couldn’t muster enough candidates to be a viable option . I lasted 4 mins and couldn’t watch any more . Lowe is just dull along with racist
