  1. Skindred must be one of them.
  2. I bought a 4 wheeled steel mesh gardening trolley for the 2013 festival and it's still going. Similar to this: Garden Trolley Cart | Free Delivery (theworkplacedepot.co.uk) Bit heavy/clunky but reliable and has pneumatic tyres so good for rough ground. You can get them from most DIY places and garden centres for £50 - £60.
  3. Same. I think it's pretty varied and strong TBF. BC Camplight, Frank T, Bar Stewards, Haircut 100, Magic Numbers, Go! Team & Skindred for me. 7 acts I want to see on 1 stage is a decent haul.
  4. As headliner? You reckon? Can't see many other contenders after Frank T & Skindred, but would have thought NMA weren't that size.
  5. 6-7 good ones on there at first glance. Very "Avalon" but I don't mind it one bit. Skindred are not to be missed.
  6. Ahem....see signature. After one of the wettest periods I can recall over the last 6-7 months and getting pissed wet through and muddy on pretty muck every hike/dog walk during that time, I DESERVE THIS. I've paid my dues already but will continue to respect the Rain Gods in return for another glorious 5 days in Pilton. C'mon Brothers & Sisters - ARE YOU WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

    Glastocam!

I was thinking similar. Imagine trying to dress el Pointo, up an access platform in high winds. I'd sh*t my pants and no mistake. Think there's a week or so of settled weather due so maybe they're taking advantage.
  8. Think this is the 4th/5th year on the bounce that nothing has inspired me to visit the Acoustic tent. Maybe I'm not the grumpy old fart Mrs 4AM says I am.
  9. Always been a great live act IMO, however I’ve not been mad on their most recent material. Roundly resided round here though so expect a like on for your comments! 😜

f**k me! You're eyesight beats mine! At full zoom I missed that!
  11. Did you manage to reach 200% rock & roll? 😉
  12. I know we're 99% that they are on at Holts, but if for some reason they aren't I'm gutted that they aren't playing anywhere in the North of the UK. Fingers crossed for more dates.

I'll believe it when another source apart from the Scum confirms it. I wouldn't believe the f**king date in that rag.
  14. The one thing I've never done and been tempted by is visit Lost Horizons for the naked sauna. If it were my last (which this might be) I'd do that for sure. I'd also do another all nighter at the Stone Circle. Only did it once and it was beautiful. I was the only one of our gang who stayed up so wandered up the hill about 2:30am with a bottle of spiced rum and made some friends. When the dawn arrived and everyone just stopped and looked in silence until the sun broke the horizon, I genuinely had tears in my eyes. If it's dry, you could always take the kids sleeping bags with you? 😉
  15. Could be a demographic shift. There area couple of teens/twentysomethings in our group who are buzzing for SZA for instance. Everyone over 30 couldn't give a toss. Maybe we're all just dinosaurs on the way out!
  16. Anecdotal, but around half of our usual gang didn't get tickets in the main sale (about 22 people). In previous years, if any have failed we're all over the resale, talking about jobs/volunteer spots etc. This year it's been really quiet and having checked in last night, none of them are even attempting in the resale and we've had a couple throw them back. Never happened before. Appreciate I'm in a bubble/echo chamber here, but the usual raging enthusiasm just doesn't seem to be there. I'm not on any social media, but the rest of the gang are and have said similar things.
  17. I'll be honest, that really surprised me. I expected Worthy Farm to at least cover most of the main festival site (i.e. incl Other/Markets/Arcadia/Park) but judging by that it's probably barely half of it. Including the car parking etc, it's maybe only 25%. May be a contributory factor to increased cost pressure as I'm sure the landowners absolutely rinse them every year.
  18. Cassyette at the Leadmill tonight. Really enjoyed her and one of the support acts - Harpy. The main support however - Witch Fever - are f**king terrible. Almost unlistenable.
  19. Not in the same league but a drunk Dame Judi Dench once told me I had a nice arse.
  20. Not that exact one, but have had a Decathlon one before which was very comfy and robust. Way better than lilos/foam mats. Only upgraded when Mrs 4AM started attending in 2019 so we got a double Berghaus mattress, which is pricey and bulky, but as comfortable as an actual bed. Yeah it rained twice on the Weds last year - pissed down when we had just finished setting up camp (so had a nap) and a shower later on.
  21. This. Mel B just polishing her own ego again.
  22. That seems odd. I didn't see or feel a noticeable increase from 2013 to 2014 and beyond, but 2022 was obviously a lot busier crowds-wise than previous years. A jump of 7,000 wouldn't account for that surely?
