I've seen a couple of headliners there over my years. Phil Jupitus with the Blockheads were very good and Sinead O'Connor wasn't! She refused to do her hits until the second half of the set and started with experimental new music which quite frankly was shit and I had to leave so missed Mandinka which is the track I love most by her

5 days off life! Listening to some of the new bands I've discovered on the stage playlists Walking round and seeing the changes on the site (I try and avoid pre festival spoilers) People watching! No better place on earth for seeing joy and madness! The feeling of being home when I walk the site on the Wednesday and feeling my shoulders drop and relax by the Thursday Theatre and circus street performers, it always amazes and fills me with wonder at the variety and talent on show for no extra cost So basically, EVERYTHING 🤩

I'm very disappointed, not with the installation and ethos around it (sounds great TBF) but with the disappearance of one of my favourite areas and it not being replaced. Last year everywhere felt very crowded and now being a venue down I can't see it being any better.

you need to put stones in your shoes, ensure there are thousands of people around you, obstacles to negotiate including broken trolleys and drunks and you should be set! Oh yes stay off pavements, ideally tramp through the gardens Hope it goes well

if you have a parking ticket for General East then you'll have no problem (weather permitting) regarding location to the gate: Yes unfortunately you'll be in the furthest fields from the gate. I'd recommend taking what you need for the day in one trip, using the lockups to store anything you need for the evening and staying on site until you're done with the day.

that's what I was hoping! Thanks for the answer. I know its pricey but for glamping its so bloody close! Over the years I've done WV, tangerine fields and both camper fields and everyone has always been a slog back. My personal preference is always to camp on site but when my beautiful wife comes she wants a level of posh!

As this could be my last one ever I'm making it a holiday and using Love Fields. One reason is the not needing to join the back of the queue to get in Wednesday when we arrive (at least I hope that's the case) 🤞

1pm is insane! I agree that B is getter than C. I was in the camper fields last year and the queue on Wednesday morning snaked up past the top of E16 and that's more than 1km from the gate

The plan is: Wizkid and Lana still the same on the Other Fred now Sunday headliner with Lil nas moving to the pyramid to sub elton (apparently) One thing though is that slots can change right up to the end of May and do regularly.
