  1. Demographics? Folk in here tend not to be Silver Hayes super-users so that area d@bbing up hasn't resonated in the same way as e.g. William's Green disappearing.
  2. Nah. I'll crack on as is thanks. Folk have got every right to comment critically on something that's cost them a fortune.
  3. Folk aren't disappointed by the line up because of the unfamiliar names. It's because of all the familiar ones.
  4. Taking aside the lack of a genuinely unique heritage act on the line-up (which we can probably assume this year would have been Madonna), its the disappointing undercard that's the bigger issue. The same top 3 would be easier to swallow with more consistency overall.
  5. Normally she's outside my bedroom window with a loudhailer hyping me up about Elbow.
  6. I reckon you could crunch some data on new acts vs acts who've played multiple times to objectively show that the line-up contains less in the way of novelty this year.
  7. What would Emily normally be doing that she isn't doing this year?
  8. "What if Glastonbury had a giant sausage in one of the fields? But the twist is that its made out of scrap metal"
  9. YMMV on it, but Joe Rush got a whole new area last year.
  10. The fact that she hasn't toured for 8 years means there's probably now a lot more pent-up demand - so you can't really use what happened back then as an indication of what would happen if she was to go on tour now.
  11. The lineup just came out 10 days ago. Folk are just a bit deflated afterwards.
  12. Stadiums are generally being used for other things in October
  13. Am I missing an image of more dates on the reverse of the t-shirt?
  14. One of the few Pyramid Openers I can envision that would be a d@b up.
  15. Belle & Sebastian definitely out: https://www.instagram.com/p/C47nG5goDPh/?igsh=bTJoeG5uZ3BxNjMz
  16. Had another check of the Blue Meanie

    SZA

She's been headlining Lollapaloozas in Latin America this week and I'd assume the setlists she's doing will by and large be the same as what we get at the G. Mostly seems to be in order - - - but looks like Prom didn't make the cut.
  18. Unless there's a new booker you're right. Likely to be very familiar.
  19. Way too big..... looks like they've just not managed to lock him.
  20. Can't think of many acts of that sort of profile and position on the main stage who've been left off of the first poster. At least not recently.
  21. Isnt Love Saves The Day booked by the same promoters so there's a high degree of crossover expected? https://www.lovesavestheday.org/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw2PSvBhDjARIsAKc2cgOZp6uHhNge4uSL7TX1C56o6J3NipCUpeVMQCDNwbyM8sVqU_5I630aApsXEALw_wcB
  22. Almost as if it sounds encouraging but is deliberately vague.
  23. People are cynical about Shania's credentials for the Teatime Slot, but she's probably got the biggest tune of the weekend up her sleeve.
