Elton - ive been at every Glasto since 2007 and that is the best thing ive seen on that headline stage, flawless. Foos - Brilliant just brilliant as always and such a treat in that slot in the sun, felt perfect Arctic Monkeys - Not everyone's cup of tea but i love the new stuff like i love the old stuff, respect they have moved forward as a band and for me Alex Turner is cool asf! Band of my generation in my opinion. Honourable mentions - Rick Astley, Fred again, Tom Grennon, Lathums,

+1 for absolutely loving it. Was in Bristol last month also and loved that. Perhaps my 9th time seeing them live and i respect the fact for how they've grown and make the music they want to make. Can also understand peoples point of view on the older stuff being superior to the new but i love it all. I also think for what its worth Alex is one cool cat, hes never going to lap up the crowd like a Dave Grohl type figure and thats absolutely fine with me cause he delivers on the music. Body Paint was a moment of the weekend, absolutely epic live.

Yep levels was ace, a brilliant alternative for the SE corner late at night. Full marks Glasto for trying to split the crowds!

Boro absolutely everywhere. I know the guys who run the 'Glasto footie shirts' twitter and 2 years on the bounce now Boro have been top of the charts. Honourable mention for Cov also. I had my Yeovil, Real Madrid and Margate (Libertines sponsored) ones on over the weekend! Great convo starter and always some light hearted banter flying around between people in them, love it!

Also, on this Taylor tribute theory...the band did the tribute concerts for Taylor in UK and the States last year? They are clearly now looking forwards with new album and dates. i dont see why they would decide they needed to further honour him with a semi secret set at Glasto? Its Pulp.

Why not call is 'Taylor Hawkins tribute' if thats what it is?

I was convinced they would be there this year, its been a seriously long time since they have placed now and under Alan Mcgee' management they seem to have got some decent spots at other festivals.

To my memory they played every song as it is on record, didn't slow anything down or anything like that i don't think.

They were absolutely brilliant last night, the energy at that gig was so much better than usual with them. Loved it, cant wait to see them again in a few weeks!

Yeah adding that little bit on Cumerberland Basin is naughty really, must get so many people there!!

The CAZ in Bristol only covers the City centre, maps available on line. Easily avoided on way to the farm.

They play Ashton Gate on Monday that im going to, will report back with how it goes! Im a mega fan, seen them countless times so i cant imagine it will disappoint me but i do get some of the views shared on this thread. I also love the last 2 'lift music' albums!

Ive done Sunday sober for many years now, either because im driving home Sunday night or I've just had enough by then. It really gives me a different perspective of the festival on that day, last year was particularly brilliant i just went off on my own explored properly and caught some great music that i probably wouldn't of bothered with if i was drinking.

Loving the new tune. +1 for saying Damon is one of the greats. Cracker Island is also the best Gorillaz album for a good few also, mans on fire atm! If they do full UK tour i'm there!!

Nothing to tempt me there this year, after last years shit show anyhow it was always my intention to try and find alternative and less rammed late night fun!
