  1. Buzzing about the changes on the clashfinder now that this has come out! Now please stay like that!
  2. Shame that this forum isn't very busy at the moment. I've heard that ticket sales are slow this year, don't know how true that is? I think it's to be expected though, last year was a really epic year imo. With lots of other festivals cancelled I think it attracted a good crowd, my favourite lineup yet and great vibes due to everyone coming out of lockdown. This year I'm not surprised to see a dip in attendance (if that is the case) as people give other festivals a go now that they're open again. I'd rather see Lewis Capaldi on the comedy stage to be honest, him and Snow Patrol are going to send me to sleep. But that's fine, early night with the kids for a change. I'm excited for Foals and Kae Tempest as I think I might miss them due to clashes at Glastonbury. Groove Armada will be epic, gutted they're clashing with Foals. Don't know what I'm going to do! Other than those, we're just planning to throw ourselves into the kids activities this year and see what happens... getting all the adult raving out of the way at Glasto so plan to chill at Latitude. Trailer Park was disappointing last year, the area looked absolutely stunning in the woods. Great spot for it, but it wasn't anywhere near as interactive as it was in 2019 and a lot of the stuff was just the same. Would be good to see some new entries/stuff in there this year. Loved the spiritual area last year!! Good move, earth dancing was fun ✨️ Still looking forward to it, I hope the energy and buzz around it picks up soon x
  3. Don't think it's needed at this stage, it's just going to be so special to be back after 2.5 years of absolute turmoil across the world. What a blessing. We truly are the luckiest people to have tickets ❀️
  4. Well I saw The Libertines and Mika hinted in slots on the clash finder earlier and both of those would be epic additions in my book!! Controversial opinion but my mind would be blown if Eminem suddenly turned up 🀯πŸ₯³ would totally ignite that rebellious 'naughties' teenager flame again πŸ’πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ€£
  5. Found a sunglasses case with two pairs inside that I'd forgotten I had! It's a sign that the sunshine is coming for sure! So I've packed them ready and it means I can leave my best ones at home. BUT the best thing was...there was a fiver in there as well! I never have spare cash pahaha! Can't believe it, so that's my first drink sorted when I get there too πŸ‘πŸΌ good vibes β˜€οΈ
  6. This is great, will keep an eye on these forums for an up to date version of this nearer the time then. Although I'm sure it won't change too much from this.
  7. Omg thank you! Going to give this a go...so so so good!! Still yet to figure out what they mean by Saxon 02 as their location? Anyone know where this is referring to?
  8. Very good point, well noted! πŸ‘πŸΌ
  9. This is the one that does it for me. My dad back in 1986. He loved music and he loved Glastonbury. I can just tell in this photo he's reflecting on how awesome life is in his happy place. Always talked about the unmistakable energy. Sadly no longer with us or I'm sure he'd still be raving with me.
  10. "Wash at Glasto...what's that?" I hear you say 🀣 I would like to have a little stove wash at some point though and wondering if anyone has any favourite eco-friendly soap brands! When I put in a google search the main one that comes up is the 'Faith in Nature' stuff which looks ok, but I'd love to shop small if anyone has any recommendations...? I will have a little hair wash with a bottle of water aswell. Need to look into the 'Lush' shampoo bars to see if they're safe but wondering if there are any other small business alternatives?
  11. Omg I'm so excited!!! Some faves of mine just been added there so I'm over the mooooooon!!!! πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌ
  12. Yes they did! They're going to be in the Saxon 02 area? Wherever that is!
  13. Love a bit of Glastronomy!! I've already messaged my favourite stall to make sure they're going to be there 🀣 Company called Makatcha. They run a stall simply called 'Coconut Curry' Pulled meats in spicy Thai coconut sauce with pickled salads. INSANE. 🀀🀀 Highly, highly recommended if you haven't seen them before. They have a prime spot at Latitude every year, always sold out by the end. I always try to get it a couple of times while im there....I'm such a fan 🀣🀣
  14. SO weird!!! Thanks, several of us were all trying earlier from different browsers in different locations but it was saying no tickets left available... Ticketmaster must have been having a funny five minutes! Thanks for having a look as well though, working now for us too...panick over! πŸ™‚
  15. Hi, need to get hold of 6 adult family weekend tickets for latitude to join our group. Anyone know of anyone who's looking to sell theirs?
  16. Do you think Camelphat is completely ruled out now? Was really keeping fingers crossed 😩

    Comedy

It's been so long since my last Glastonbury that I can't even remember what stage comedians usually appear on! Haven't heard any rumours or seen anything on the lineups yet... anyone else heard anything or know which area announcement may include some comedy?
  18. So I started typing one thing but i've ended up having a little reminisce and writing all my favourite memories. Haha. Long one, but why not. Got a few from Glasto 2013. Including stumbling into the circus tent at 2am or something and watching a drag circus. Full on somersaults and aerial stuff all in platform stilettos. Bloody brilliant. Also walking into copper dollar and there was some people doing a dance, hadn't noticed a huge skeleton puppet in the corner and it was like they made it come to life with lasers and it started a procession all around the dance floor. Amazing atmosphere, shame that place isn't there any more. Also, I was never really an Arctic monkeys fan, could only have told you a couple of their most mainstream songs before. But thought we ought to watch the opening headliner on the pyramid stage...my god it still gives me goosebumps. They started with 'Do You Wanna Know' (i'd genuinely never heard it at the time) and it was the most amazing opening atmospheric entrance of a set that I have ever seen. Fan ever since! Then Latitude, and one thing I like about the crowd at latitude is that they stay quite spread out. So was able to get to the front for Wolf Alice. They are my faves so that was special. Also at latitude...singing 'living on prayer' and jumping around off the sides of the karaoke caravan was fun in 2019. And having my son on my shoulders while he was singing along to Bastille last year - they aren't my cup of tea but he likes them and it's the first time i've taken him right into the crowd and he's fully engaged with a band, he was 6. It was magic. Finally, Rihanna coming on to perform with Eminem as a surprise performance at V Festival was incredible. Eminem was my ultimate fave as a teenager so to finally see him live was epic. Hundreds more as well 🀣
  19. Will we get Camelphat doing a set again do you think? I'm keeping fingers crossed!
  20. I loved Copper Dollar as well when I went in 2013. By the looks of it, not there any more though?
  21. Holly Humberstone is a great shout. I'm sure this is probably premature but it's a start...will bump nearer the time 😊
  22. Couldn't find a similar thread so thought I'd start one... The main reason I love festivals is stumbling across new music/acts which I wouldn't normally go out of my way to see. I thought that as the line-up expands I'd ask for some tips of your 'un-missable' performances!! Maybe because you've seen them before, or maybe just because you know they'll bring an extra energy or something barmy especially for Glasto?! I remember in 2013, all the critics had 'Major Lazer' on their rogue hot tips list but we didn't see it in time. Watching clips afterwards I wish I'd made the effort to see them. So what rogue acts in the lineup so far do you recommend and why? 😊
  23. To be honest I probably won't take it down to the stages but been wanting one for camp for ages 🎏 it of fun πŸ™‚ Sounds like a great investment in the backpack! Luckily we managed to get a caravan pass in the resale as well so no need to do the trek from the car this time...get to take my little old hippy van (if it makes it down there!)
