  1. You’re really high up, and it’s pretty sparse (certainly when I did it). If the price is right though, I wouldn’t say it matters for a show like that.

    Adele

She was also, if memory serves, the hold music on the Spurs ticket line for a good few years. Guns N Roses and Gaga are already slated for next Summer there. Not much of a jump to have 21 nights of Adele on top.
  3. That’s a fucking pain seeing as Garbage were half the reason we got the tickets.

I’d say this is probably the most likely outcome we’ve got over here. She named her dog after Aaron Lennon iirc.
  5. Not sure. I feel we’ve got a bit of a Macca situation where the Eavii’s hand has been forced. Think in a normal world you’d announce your returners first.

  8. Having a 50th anniversary after 52 years is a bit tenuous. Would’ve been pushing it if it happened this year. Fully agree. I’ve done all 3 pyramid headliners once, and it was comfortably my worst Glastonbury. Always clash dependent of course but I try to see no more than one now. You’re not getting the full experience otherwise.
  9. I reckon Aerosmith are more likely to stay put at 3 on the Saturday, with a Lorde or similar in between. Sunday is gonna be a sea of picnic blankets otherwise..
  10. What I like about it is it’s about as balanced as 2020’s original slate. Really is something for everyone there. Clash dependent I probably won’t see more than one, but that’s par for the course for me anyway.
  11. Not at all. I’m glad someone’s got their eye out looking for this stuff. The next one may work after all…
  12. Trying it with people who don’t have tickets. No dice. Saying the details don’t match.
  13. Really interesting to see how they fit Snoop, Kendrick, Eminem and Mary J Blige into 15 minutes.

  15. Stormzy did kill it on the Other Stage the previous time though, so it was clearer he could do it at Glastonbury. A lot’s happened between Billie’s appearance and now, but it’s still fair to say she doesn’t have that check mark in her favour.
  16. That goes with being a pyramid headliner I’m afraid. There’s only 3 slots a year, and many great artists go their career without getting near it. Scrutiny is to be expected.
  17. £295. As much they can get without going over that psychological barrier.
  18. Been equivocal up to this point, but just got my email from see. It is so on. 100%.
  19. I don’t think Kanye was that bad. Start and the end were good. Wasn’t even my worst headliner that weekend- that came the day after. I was in a similar position for all 3 headliners on the Pyramid in ‘15 (never again) and from where I was standing, Kanye started with the biggest crowd of the 3. Of our group, only 2 of us out of the 7 made it through the mid-section though. While it was the biggest drift of any headliner I’ve seen, I wonder how much of that can be driven to having a larger, more casual/curious crowd in the first place.
  20. Totally agree. Seeing Interpol over Stormzy is my single biggest Glastonbury regret.
  21. The Mighty Hoopla’s expanded to 2 days? Leo Varadkar will be thrilled!
  22. I didn’t see any checks made but I’ve got grey hair and a beard so am probably not the best yardstick. Super duper early birds all sold out. Still a steal at £35.
  23. Bit worried this won’t be the last delay, hate to say but I think it’s gonna be a long long time before any of us get to see him back on stage.
  24. I mean Michael Jackson didn’t even see the start of his.
  25. I got an email saying my November date is taking place in April 2023.
