  1. I think bag searches on the way out are looking for people carrying out wristbands and passouts.
  2. You have to go through a long process of proving that you are a genuine ticket holder to get issued a new pass out.
  3. If you want to park near each other to help with carrying stuff in, it might be worth meeting a few miles from the site to arrive in convoy. It’s not unknown to be directed to a car park miles away from the one you were aiming for.
  4. Does the lead booker need to pay all balances for the group in the same transaction to ensure the group all get allocated the same coach times?
  5. If it’s your first time by car, don’t underestimate how far from the gate you might have to park and how far that gate might be from your preferred camping spot. If you need 2 trips to carry stuff in you need to consume a lot of it while onsite or carry it back out again. Two trips to the car on Monday morning will feel like torture.
  6. I’ve never had to queue for re entry. Check on the way out where the re entry line is so you don’t end up joining the first entry queue on the way back in.
  7. Are you allocated your return coach time by SeeTickets? I love a big Sunday to close the festival. Not being in control of my leaving time could put the brakes on that.
  8. On the coach this year. When do we find out what time our coach will be? Do we book a time or does it just get allocated?
  9. The Glade for me. It’s a convenient place to meet up and can be a great place to get lost for a few hours.
  10. Could Fat Freddy’s Drop be playing this year? They have 4 UK dates starting 6th of July, but I haven’t seen them rumoured for Glastonbury. Where would they play?
  11. Neville Staple has self confirmed which may soften the blow, a tiny bit.
  12. Quite a few years ago I had a shower somewhere near where JP and family camping are now. It was a tent with about 6 showers (open not cubicles) and pallets on the floor. I don’t know if it’s still there. I went before going to bed at around 9 in the morning. I was front of the small queue but I think still had to wait a bit because they were solar and needed time to heat up.
  13. True, but it’s about 20 times wider than the walkway through Pylon from PGA.
  14. SH could be so much better if it was laid out like a rabbit warren with a few smaller venues thrown in. The wide, straight walkthrough is unnecessary for the size of the crowds that SH attracts.
  15. I was genuinely excited to watch GnR. I loved Appetite For Destruction for a time in my youth. However, just watched this and holy shit it’s bad!
  16. Yes! We’re in. I’m now free to help others in the Sunday sale.
  17. My booking shows on the tracker. I think I’ll only be properly relaxed once the pending transaction is completed.
  18. I’m normally a very rational person. Something about the ticket buying lottery makes me lose my mind.
  19. Help me put my mind at rest. The message I got on the webpage following the payment processing was something like “Unfortunately tickets were not able to be allocated”. However, I have a pending transaction in my banking app and I have received a confirmation email from SeeTickets. I absolutely have tickets, right, please tell me it’s OK!
  20. Unfortunately friends have pulled out so I’m selling 4 (phase2), Thurs entry tickets with Camp Orchid. Selling securely through official resellers link: https://ww2.theticketsellers.co.uk/q/46db70144f6442d786a5be4c6446ccd4
  21. Four Tet sounding great at the Park
  22. L’Entourloop would be 🔥. Releasing new music and touring this year.
  23. Carry a refillable water bottle. Use the free lockups. Wander without purpose but set your approximate direction with some consideration for the time of day. It’s a huge site so no point trekking to SE corner or Pangea at 11am, when there’s nothing much going on, and other parts of the site will have lots to offer. Never pass by a compost toilet with no queue without asking yourself if you need a shit.
  24. Thank Sku for taking the time to give a detailed and helpful reply. Are you responsible for Boomtown Source? If so, thanks again for a great resource. First Boomtown for us this year as our luck has sadly run out with Glastonbury tickets. Still massively excited for Boomtown despite the anxiety of what appears to be some very heavy “security”.
