Not having a 15-30min buffer between Candi and Elton is actually the worst thing clash-wise for me. I'm happy to miss the first couple of Elton's songs and sacrifice a good spot to see Candi, however my group is set on seeing Cat, Blondie and then Elton. Don't think anyone will want to go to WH and back in between. Truth be told, I realise I will probably be too tired to do that as well. Still, I really really don't want to either miss Candi or not be able to catch up with my group for Elton.

Quality addition this, although I'm seeing M83 at Sziget so would prefer YYYs. Still hope for that though.

Not to open another topic with a related question - we're looking at picking up some air beds and camping chairs (nothing fancy or special) in Bristol the day before the festival. We don't need to worry about GO Outdoors' stock being depleted, right? I mean I can order and then collect, just not sure if I need to bother with that.

Their on stage effort is lacking at best. Their setlists in the past couple of years have been boring, too AM heavy and all around bad, especially for festival crowds. And that's what is so annoying. We all know they have a banging 2h set in them, they apparently just can't be bothered.

Yes. I'll be parked in and around Woodsies on Saturday from the beginning up to TBA. Probably off to Kid Kapichi and then back to GnR. Will be a cracking day with not much moving around. And I'm not even missing loads of want-to-sees in that time.

Oh FFS they're actually gonna do a proper festival setlist now, the kind they should've been doing for the last decade anyway? Imagine them actually appearing as if they want to be there? I was really happy I wouldn't have to spend all three nights at the Pyramid, now I'm having doubts. In the unlikely case of them adding one or two from SIAS and possibly dropping some more AM filler, I'll have to be there, at least for a part of the set.

That Sunday FreeDome run of NBT at 22:45 and then M83 at 23:00 is bound to be great 😂 We'll wait a bit more then.

Don't quote me on it, but if I remember correctly there were reports about them basically being kicked out of IFEMA rather than them wanting to move. Some construction planned for that IFEMA area that got then delayed due to the pandemic. Anyway, this is peak Mad Cool we all know and love.
