  1. I have to agree here, a can of hooch has sorted me out the day after a couple of times before. A mate in work recommended it i was hasty at first but it hit the spot to be fair
  2. Apologies if this is random but what’s your go to refreshing drink. I’m talking about the drink you have when it’s Saturday night/Sunday, you’re bored of the same drink and your mouth tastes like a flip flop. When you just need a proper thirst quencher. Alcoholic or non-alcoholic
  3. Just enjoy your self and sleep when you need to, don’t put too much pressure on yourself to do things you’ve intended to do if your body isn’t up for it, remember it’s a break from reality so if that means taking time to chill and sleep then so be it
  4. Most definitely would support this

    Glastocam!

Thanks for all the pics - just love watching the site build.
  6. I don’t know about anybody else here.. but the people I always plan too see sometimes doesn’t quite to go plan as I often get caught up in something else when passing by. I always end up regretting it after the festival but at the time I’m a live in the moment kinda person
  7. And this is why I love Glastonbury 😂
  8. If I remember correctly.. if you use the see tickets order tracker, that page normally updates with your coach times prior to the tickets being sent via email. I can’t remember how much earlier they were on there but it was defiantly a week or two before. I don’t know if it will be the same for 2022 but for the other 3 years I’ve had a coach ticket that’s been the case
  9. Yeah I can see how you’ve felt like that but I’ve been going to these party’s since 2019 and it’s defiantly not someone else’s party, they are parties for everyone and everybody is accepted and I’ve never met anyone who thinks that straight men just go for a gawp. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. For me they are just places to go, enjoy the music, the atmosphere and the culture and just let yourself go to the whole experience
  10. I’ve never tried to prevent the hangover in Glastonbury but as I’m getting older the hangovers are getting worse so the plan this year will be dioralyte and alka seltzers then it’s straight back on it.
  11. I’ve always avoided the downlow due to it being a queer party, I’m not homophonic i was just always insecure and this will be my first Glasto after coming out so will defiantly be paying it a visit this year. Some of the stories I’ve heard from it are insane 🥳
  12. Going to write a list day with it being next month and all..
  13. Time to get a tent I think !
  14. Legends slot act this year/DJ playing at silver hayes did I do it right?

This thread is life I would like to thank you all personally for my continued escalating excitement towards this festival
  16. I see the click bait title worked 🤪 I watched one called Lost in Vaugness it’s about the origins of the south east corner, worth a watch
  17. So it’s just 8 weeks til the festival.. and the excitement is really kicking in. Tell me what do you do on the run up to the festival to really get in the spirit? What documentaries do you watch? Do you make a list? I’ve watched a couple on BBC iplayer and Netflix any recommendations will be appreciated too 😄
  18. Not sure if this is the right thread but any one know if Paolo Nutini is playing as he’s playing in Bristol on the Thursday

    SE Corner Tactics.

We always try to plan one place to get to in the night and tend to stay there for the night. I always tell my mates who hate queueing that there’s queues for a reason. Get there early if possible and as @cervmentioned above, the diner is the place to be if all else fails if you’re into that music. Had one of the best nights I’ve had in Glastonbury in there.
  20. Going to relive my childhood dream at Avalon
  21. If we’re talking in terms of acts seen then it’s probably the Other stage/Pyramid. If we’re talking hours spent then I’m guessing Block 9
  22. Would any one care to share some funny/unusual/strange stories from the after hours of Glastonbury. The late night venues are some of my favourite parts of the festival and I’ve heard a few stories that have really made me laugh. Thought it would be a good way to build some excitement for the festival. This will be my 5th year going and still haven’t experienced the NYC Downlow so that’s definitely on my list for this year.
  23. I’ve had 6 am from Liverpool on Wednesday twice and my mates had 10 am, not sure if this is a pattern but every time I got coach tickets in the first sale I’ve had 6 am, and my mates who had 10 am got their tickets in the resale. I got mine in the resale this year so hoping that isn’t the pattern as ideally would like to leave at 6.
