  1. And the Cult.... bargain. I've had the same thought. Plenty of seats (and it's all seats) available.
  2. Use this link for O2 London .... https://www.axs.com/uk/events/432017/arcade-fire-tickets/promopage/33410?skin=theo2&uk_et_cid=o2nl120522&uk_et_rid=1_648910836200858&pt_pubid=1_648910836200858
  3. Still plenty standing left for the O2 on AXS.
  4. Erm, yes. Hasn't it always been that?
  5. Aha, but it's always that delicate balance, isn't it? Basically we are going on holiday and we're returning to a destination we've been to many times before. Do we visit that new trattoria that's just opened up or do we go to the old faithful that's been serving us for years? Also known as the 'Goan Fish Curry' dilemma. Me, it's also mostly new stuff, but I will see Mik somewhere and I'm locked in for Cassetteboy, but I'll catch you at 4am on Platform 23.
  6. I blame The Thingy for telling GFHQ he was too busy today.
  7. The boat on it's travels past the G-on-Sea ...
  8. Live Nation on the Thursday
  9. It's the age-old question. Visit an old faithful or try something new? I think of it as the 'Goan Fish Curry Dilemma'.

    O2 Parking

It's exact location is shown below ... The Pilot is a nice spot for a beer if the timings work.
  11. Yeah, kind of ... but new material up there at the top of the thread.
  12. Don't need an announcement for this one .... it'll be Davos followed by all new Cassetteboy. A must for the delicate mind.

    O2 Parking

It costs a bloody fortune to leave a car at O2 car parks. The closest you could get for free parking would be Charlton, near the Thames Barrier and then jump on the bus. Either that or park in the sticks and get some trains.
  14. I've unprofessionally stuck the link for that just up there ... ☝️

  16. Some Ben Sims here ... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m00169hq which has recently been soundtracking the get-fit-for-Glasto regime. Would be very happy with something like this at 4am to keep the old bones moving.
  17. Daft Punk 100 Elton John 70 (-2) Kate Bush 70 (-8)
  18. Yeah - Dr Meaker self confirmed for Friday night on the Truth stage. They are an excellent live act - played 'last' year on The Glade. It's how D&B should be performed.

Pretty much summed up the live experience too.

Saw them last night in Camden. A good crowd for London with very few of the arms-folded type. They struggle to fill an hour with a few of the weaker tracks, but they will storm a 40-minute festival set. They all still seem to be a little taken aback at the attention but the confidence is growing. Honeyglaze are talented too, but need to work a bit on the stagecraft.
