RATM aren‘t out for sure as Werchter would be one full year after Zack‘s accident. Still not likely though… Even if they could play, I think they can‘t commit early enough for Werchter to be able to book them.

@Brave Sir Robin Is it worth putting some money on RHCP? Have a feeling with them being rumored for a second EU leg in 2023 and the tba postponed date at Bellahouston in Glasgow a return to Hyde Park after 2004 would make sense. Wouldn‘t it? 😉

Not sure. I know we should be back to pre-COVID announcement schemes but with the energy crisis and inflation at 10 percent in the EU I think a lot of promoters would like to shift their tickets as soon as possible and before people recognize their bank accounts are under heavy attack.

I‘m sorry if this has been discussed but I don‘t come to this thread often: Why aren‘t RATM part of the rumor mill anymore? My understanding was they have a festival leg planned for early summer 2023 and I thought Download would be a given if they come over that part of the year. Can someone bring me up to speed?

To „drop out“ - were they ever in? I know they were booked for 2021 (?) but doesn’t their absence in 2022 despite touring Europe shortly after make 2023 even more doubtful? Maybe the contract was cancelled?

It‘s all speculation right now. Their last show was a week ago. Nobody knows when the person got the positive test in the first place. Could have been days ago and they were just hoping to make Boston possible. Maybe even NIN’ double duty was a plan B for a few days already. So maybe the person is over the worst and just is still positive. Julian says on Instagram „we all wanna play but would just be unethical“. So it‘s rather the positive test and not somebody feeling unwell, that keeps them from playing.
