15 June
-
Same day as the Foo Fighters in Manchester if that‘s important for anyone.
-
I mean Nova Rock.
-
Have they announced an announcement?
-
NO! 😂
-
Oh god no, save us from another summer tour of GnR.
-
Don‘t know about Tim, but Zack‘s injury shouldn‘t be an issue two years later. And I‘m not talking about months on the road but a three week summer vacation with a handful festivals and a big fat paycheck. 10 shows max. But again - I have no idea whether they are up to anything. I think they are one of the most unpredictable bands in the market.
-
Of course things can change fast but they weren‘t a few months ago.
-
Yeah, but Rammstein are not available for festivals. And it looks like Maiden are playing AUS/NZ in May and Bruce Dickinson is doing solo stuff in Europe in June.
-
Money talks. Important things have changed in the last few weeks (Rammstein, Iron Maiden). Not saying they are coming, but wouldn‘t be surprised if promoters gave it another try.
-
Green Day SOAD won‘t cross the pond.
-
Concluding from the early bird not being available for June 16 / 28 and July 9: That‘s where the big ones are playing. Foo Fighters, AC/DC. With FF only available on July 9.
-
Is he big enough for I-Days? I doubt it.
-
The lightning bolt is their usual icon.
-
Still there are no back to back dates in different places. Rammstein won‘t play Download. But I‘m sure they were at one place a few months ago. Things have changed probably.
-
No it won‘t. They are in Lyon 15 June. And they do not have back to back dates in different places.
-
Well. Stating the obvious: No Rammstein for this.
-
I don't see why AC/DC would play festivals. They could sell as much tickets on their own. Green Day and Pearl Jam don't quite fit the festival's DNA. I'd go with: A7X // Iron Maiden // Rammstein // TOOL

I‘m not saying I‘m sure, I‘m just saying it‘s totally possible. Just this year they had: - 3 days off between Denver, USA > Curitiba, Brazil - 5 days off between Yuzama, Japan (Fuji Rock) > Spokane, USA - 2 days off between Manchester, USA (Bonnaroo) > Cannes, France - 2 days off between Washington, USA > Nürburg, Germany (Rock am Ring)
-
Yeah maybe, was just a thought. But I guess Werchter is nailed on.
-
I‘d even have them penciled in for Mad Cool and NOS. It‘s EU to East Coast, so not too far and Dave Grohl is known for one-offs all over the world so I guess he wouldn‘t mind only 3 days between EU and US legs.
-
Signs will come. It‘s still time til their usual December announcement. FF, PJ and GD sounds like it‘s too big and too old but it also sounds a hell lot like Werchter.

Primavera Sound Barcelona 2023 + Primavera Sound Madrid 2023
Karlos12345 replied to Fnmentaluk's topic in overseas festivals
Sorry, I’m not a regular in this thread so this might be a dumb question: Is the lineup officially complete? Any chance there is room for a suprise headliner? Did New Order come out of nowhere or was this expected cause they were missing a big name?
