Yeah sort of agree, though we didn't go Di Ro because of the crowding / clashes to be fair. Just a bit exhausted by Sunday and couldn't be bothered dealing with it.

I would also check your contract - it should clearly set out the protocol for booking leave and when you can take it, and I suspect there is nothing in there regarding Eid or religious holidays restricting you from doing this. If they are still refusing pretty sure that is direct discrimination, no employee should be given priority over another employee on the basis of different or no religious belief, fairly sure this is covered in the the equality act 2010 which protects people with AND without religious beliefs.

Well it seems like you're being overwhelmed dealing with this shit, and having to take measures that are getting people who are not trolling swept up in IP bans. If you had a few mods shutting down threads and banning accounts it'd save you a lot of messing about for starters. Not really sure you moderating the mods would be that big of a deal, certainly a lot less than you're having to contend with now. But hey it's your site Neil, just echoing what others have suggested as somebody who has been popping in and out for many years and watched all this unfold.

Surely promoting a few trusted accounts to be moderators is an easy win for you to be able to step away from dealing with the troll shit though and focus on the rest of the site

Still just cannot see Glasto booking GnR, AM and Elton together to be honest - three white male artists. Despite what Emily has said about sometimes not being able to get a female headliner, she has also expressed her intentions to promote female artists to that level to give them exposure and a platform, and can see them doing this with one of the many available large female artists, over booking all white all male. And the likely candidate to not be there in that mix to me seems to be GnR as we have not really had any concrete info on them at all as far as I can tell that did not originate in this forum.

Best campsite really depends on what you're after, in the action or a good nights sleep - I've been in all the sites to the western and sourthern sides. Bushy I found the worst for walking and felt pretty cut off but it was also a rainy year, Pennards doesn't deserve the reputation it has, and popping into the tent for some cans between West Holts and Park was a dream. As a very specific bit of advice that I wish I had known my first time, don't just follow the crowds to SE corner after headliners as you'll end up just shuffling in a loop to the exit. If you desperately want to see something specific there or get into a venue consider going before the end of headliners, or go much later on after exploring the rest of site! Don't get hung up on queuing for stuff, there's always something incredible round the corner.

That's some really bad luck, sorry to hear that. like others said increase your group size, additional devices is fine but 4 extra people trying is way better. If you know anyone that goes ask around for bigger groups to join too (resale club on here is a good start!) years ago we stumbled upon a group run by a friend of a friend that was a bit of syndicate situation mostly strangers or distant mates, multiple groups of 6 which all tried and kept going for other groups once they got their own ticket. Yesterday we had about 50 odd people trying for one group, can quickly see how your group of 2 might struggle!

Never had that before but scraped through at 10:30 well after the sold out message, refreshing waiting page and feeling utterly broken and then registration entry popped up. Saw a few messages on here to keep going so big thank you for that!
