  1. Stevie was amazing. (He was a lot younger mind)
  2. Doubt it. 2025 maybe. If he was to play it's probably other stage headliner. i'm guessing '25 Pyramid Sub or Other Headliner.
  3. Definitely one of my surprise acts of the weekend. I thought they'd be alright - but I thought they were great. Chrissie hynde still could belt a tune out. I havent seen / read much love for them, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  4. Pleased I saw Elton, but they were amazing. Got a ticket for November but it would have been better last weekend. Should have played Friday.
  5. This is the only photo I took of Norm
  6. The great Fri mystery. Going to assume the SE corner was rammed
  7. For FBS they said it was full? I managed to get in & out to the toilet, no bother
  8. Silver Hayes was not busy. I was at Camelphat which wasnt full at all. In fact it was on the quieter side. Eli Brown came on at half 10, he was playing to a 1/3 capacity Levels. (if Im generous). I could nip to the toilet & the rest of the SH was pretty quiet. Even for FBS at 12am it was busy, but not rammed. Not like Sunday after Reg. Phpto of Camelphat... wasnt rammed at all (I got there at 9:45)

Have you watched the ending? That got me absolutely fired up. How loud it was (especially the drums) doesnt come across on the TV. It was like a massive ball of energy being shoved down your neck. I was asked to describe what it was like when I got back to meet my mates... "Arcade Fire meets public enemy, meets African music, meets punk, meets soul, meets a wall of noise at the end. It was unreal"

As long as I can be in the pit for it. Unfortunately I think they wont ever get on owd pointy, but they should.

I bet those early shows were mega. They passed me by until Cocoa Sugar came out, even then it was just on record. I liked the albums, but hadn't had the chance to catch them live until last week. Last week had everything I wanted in a performance. I know it'll have pissed off the kind of people I want to piss off too. Straight into my top 10 favourite Glastonbury gigs of all time.

About to watch this back for a 2nd time... not as good as being there, but amazing. I cant remember the last act to completely blow me away like they did last Friday. Probably the first time I saw Arcade Fire. I've was 50/50 YF or Fred Again... Fred looked brilliant on TV, but nothing compared to the Young Fathers. Life affirming stuff.
  13. I assumed so, but someone earlier said 3/4 of the way back there was a lot of room. I appreciate that accounts for 70,000 or so, but it's still plenty of unaccounted for souls.

I thought B Flowers was gunna try to sell us all a Monorail when he appeared on stage.
  15. So Fri headliner time... where was everyone?! Nowhere seems like it was busy. Or was it that everywhere was just properly spread out for once? Unless the SE Corner was rammed?
  16. My grandma died last year. Every year she'd buy me "bits" for glastonbury. (Wipes, suncream etc). Every year she said "Think of me when the fireworks are going". She loved fireworks Last year I filmed them and forgot to show her. She went into hospital 3 weeks later. This year as the fireworks started, I was sat on my own & filmed them. The fact that there was smoke covering them up up this year seemed right. I couldnt show her. Got me pretty choked up, I wont lie.

Im not arsed about Blur per se, barring a vouple of tunes - but I have genuinely not heard anything about the above.
  18. Get Marc Rebillet on somewhere... the Glade... Or better still the Truth Stage.
  19. That tune grinds me geats massively. I hate it with a passion. Life in the fast lane is alright though. The Eagles though, nah. Naff.

Sam Fender had billboards up around Newcastle with a QR code that took you to pre order album 3 I believe it's coming in January.
  21. Best 1. The Ending to Toy by Young Fathers. It ended the set. I felt like I could run through a wall after it. I was as fired up & excited by the wall of sound coming at me as I have for a long time. 2. DJ Yoda mixing The Imperial Death March into Usher - Yeah! You had to be there to hear it. It was brilliant. 3. Crocodile Rock - Elton John. Everyone's "la la la la la las". Marvellous scenes. Worst moment - Sunburn.
